- I bought these on a whim and just thought I'd share the experience with everyone.
I certainly wasn't expecting much but at 2 for £15 I couldn't walk past them and just wondered how bad they could be.
They're certainly very nice looking and they're full-function, if not proportional. For the tinkerers out there, they might be something to take apart and try to turn into a drift car or a tiny speed demon. They could be the ideal Christmas present for someone. I can certainly see a 6 year old being very impressed.
As an update, I got a replacement for the Range Rover, so the options are still open.

Thanks for watching!
brought my son the range rover and i spend more time with the rear tyres off in the kitchen drifting 😂
Haha.. That's funny. Does it work well?
I have an audi r8 GT (black), McLaren (golden) and the 360 tumble stunt car (red).. if you want even better and lower prices download vinted, there is so many of them on vinted, if you don't know what vinted is, vinted is basically Ebay but cheaper and more affordable, and just way better in general! I used vinted to buy mine!
Interesting.
Happy driving!

Not too much money spent either way!

The 1/24 scale like these?
Or do you mean the larger ones like the Aventador in my other video?
Oopps, tesco robbed me. I bought cmj rc car for £20.
Call the cops! 🚓 🤣
@@rcpie already mate. Lolzz
Stehr Highway
?
I have the range got it yesterday now its driving way slower nd has no power how u fix it?
I took it back and exchanged it.
Yeah i'm going buy the mclaren
These are cheap and pretty good for first RC cars. I prefer the larger 1:14 or 1:12 scale versions though as they drive better and usually have clear windows and full interior detail. The price difference is not so big if you shop around for discounts. They make excellent display models when not being used as RC cars as they are usually fully licensed. There is also the opportunity to strip out the toy grade electronics and fit hobby grade parts if you like upgrade projects. The brands to look out for are Rastar and RW Jianfengyuan (Miebely).
The Rastar stuff is nice but that scale is still very fiddly to try to get decent running gear in. If only they'd do more 1:10 scale.
@@rcpie Yes, space is limited but on the plus side, the scale matches the Tamiya big rigs so something like a Range Rover can be converted into a police vehicle.
Good point!
Do you know how to pair a new controller, thanks
I'd be surprised if you can. You might get lucky and find something that runs on similar channels that can bind to it but I wouldn't hold your breath. Any solution would cost more than buying a new car.
B&m stores selling these for £25. Is the 1:14 scale bigger or smaller than the 1:10 scale.?
1:14 is smaller than 1:10. These are 1:24.
Are these still in working condition or did they break after purchase?
@@Natediaaz209 They hardly got used. I only really bought them for the video and potential projects. Should still be working.
the range rover onkly use the best abtteries
Is it too posh for cheap, supermarket batteries? 🤣🤣
And I bought it yesterday and saw the vid
Always look for videos first! 😉
Will the batteries charge?
They're just normal batteries, so you could use rechargables if you have them.
Hello from southeast alaska
Hi William!
But can it drift
No, not really. Unless you live on a frozen lake!
What size is the wheelbase
111mm for the McLaren and 122mm for the Range Rover.
Cool little RC car!
For the price, yeah.
