White Room is an amazing song for Fallout, I wish more Fallout games would experiment with later songs than just 30s-50s. A Vietnam-era soundtrack to a Fallout game would be great, maybe New Orleans like they did with Mafia 3.
I almost added in a scene where the courier guns down some fiends with a belt fed M60 and a decked out vietnam era helmet, but didn't lol that would have been too much, too out of place

After the events of FO3, the Lone Wanderer travels West and takes up a job as a Courier, gets caught off-guard, and two bullets in the brain bucket get the player character started on his own story.

I wanted to ask how you were able to free cam while at the same time making your character move (0:31) and how you were able to zoom in the third person camera so smoothly (0:36). I saw in an earlier comment of yours that you used AE stabilization, but I was amazed at these shots and wondered if there were some tricks in-game that achieved the free cam + movement, and the smooth zoom in/out. OK, that was awesome. Found this literally by accident. When I was looking for some old fan made Fallout 4 trailer. Edit: if ever want the cutscenes to match the graphic quality of the rest of the game. There is a few mods that have the opening cinematic run in the game engine. Which means the visual mods with the apply to them.
Just like when I encountered them for the first time. I'm in the Repconn basement, I peak around the hallway corner to take a look at the red blip, and all of a sudden some fucking gargantuan figure materializes with lightning around him and swings a big ass sword at me.
Not sure why Doc Mitchell looks different, but this is awesome. Really made the Nightkin look badass for an enemy that barely shows up in the game. Also that convict on the right in the merc charmer outfit just staring 6 down... 1:24
Hey, I used Nvidia Shadowplay to record, Adobe Premiere to edit the visuals/effects/color grading, Adobe After Effects mostly for one scene - the grave scene with the flashbacks. I also used an xbox 360 controller with a wireless adapter to get the pan shots, had to literally dig into the game's config files to set the sensitivity to like 0.001 to make them look smooth though. I also used my mouse with really low sensitivity for some shots where I set the FOV to something like 20 or 30 ingame, then warp stabilized the footage in After Effects 2020 (since Premiere Pro's stabilizer had this "jello" effect", and the xbox 360 controller pans way too fast at such a low FOV, so I had to use the mouse). Used the console for idle animations and some other anims, pretty much used the console for everything else too though. I installed New Vegas completely fresh and downloaded about 60 mods purely for the video. I used the Enhanced Shaders ENB, Dragbody's skins, Asurah's reload animations for 1st person shots.
For the montage, I thought it would've been cooler if you added DLC locations. Probably in Villa or in The Divide, but anyways this was really well made!
If I wanted a true trailer for my favorite game, this would be it hands down. absolutely insane and sets the tone I see for when I play new vegas, and fallout 3 trailer you did hit the same note too. 10/10 wanna play Fallout again
