    I have the 2022 xt onyx same color and did chrome delete around the windows, mirror and the chrome around the front and rear emblems. Getting all that chrome out of the way made a big difference. Also put Nameless axleback with 5" muffler and Nameless strut tower bar. I went with Perrin 20mm spacers.

    Love what you did, I have two quick questions. What did this do to your approach and departure angles with the 2 inch lift? With the muffler delete how do you pass inspection?

    • @eziocomparini7068
      @eziocomparini7068  4 месяца назад

      Thank you. All angles increased and the ride stayed smooth as stock height. In Ga, inspections don’t care if you have a muffler or not, they look for the catalytic converter. Regardless, the mufflers are bolt on and are easily replaced. I noticed low end power decrease with the open muffler delete, so I put the OEM back. These turbos aren’t super powerful so opening up the exhaust doesn’t help them as they would a WRX, etc. 👍

I asked a random lady in a parking lot what she realistically gets mpg-wise, and she said it's supposed to get 33 mpg on the highway but she often gets up to 38 mpg. Hey there. The older outback’s 2015’ish did have a slight vibration at low speed. The new ones do not vibrate at all, drives like stock. Wheels? Keep the stockers as they are light. These engines aren’t super powerful like a V8 truck so rotational weight is key and I think it looks good. Go for it.

    • @eziocomparini7068
      @eziocomparini7068  3 года назад +1

      Technically if there was a suspension issue, dealers could blame the lift, even if it had nothing to do with it. I’ve found with Jeep’s and subarus, it’s not the issue. They build their cars for off road and will work with the customer. Companies like Readylift will engineer a product well enough before they sell it so it won’t cause issues. I’ve had my mods a year now and 10,000 miles with no issue.

    • @SecretSauceyjuice
      @SecretSauceyjuice 2 года назад

      The dealer would have to prove your modification caused the problem. They could try to deny a claim, but you could probably win that battle.
      The only scenario you might not win is if a CV axle blows out. That's a known stress point when you lift. Cost of doing business sometimes if you decide to lift a Subaru.
      Just FYI, "voiding a warranty" isn't really a thing. For example, if you do a bunch of engine mods and your engine blows up, they may have grounds to deny the claim. But if you do only suspension mods and your engine blows up...then they still have to replace your engine under warranty.
