I was there towards the end of the stream, glad the VOD of the stream is here for me to munch on. This is a great story mode, as a fan of the MK franchise since it’s inception, I’m impressed with it.

A note about Raiden, his evil Thunder God persona is voiced by Travis Willingham (the default VA for Thor, Ace in Funi's One Piece dub, Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist), who actually voiced Raiden in the mobile game.
This was really entertaining! I was confused at first, though, because I haven't played any of the games since MK4, so I was surprised to see Liu Kang and Raiden basically swap roles. Speaking of MK4, I get the impression that most people don't like it, but it was my favorite of the first four games. It was the only one I could actually play decently in the arcade, which is weird since I usually prefer 2D games over the 3D versions. 😆 Anyway, I always liked Reiko and Quan Chi in MK4, so I was glad to see them return here. Same goes for Tanya, who was one of the few characters who I could reliably do a fatality with. But my favorite thing to do in that game was to play as Reptile and turn invisible before doing his face-eating fatality. It made it look like the other person's face was just spontaneously falling apart. 😆
I usually don't have any interest in MK but this Story mode is great, it is just the right amount of goofy with some really neat characterizations. And whoever was responsible for Shang Tsung and his facial animations had waaayyy too much fun with that. The guy doesn't even need to talk to scream sleezeball and i love it.
During the Armageddon, you can select any character and you were face of different fighters of timeline and there’s a lot and there’s like a lot of characters. It’s kinda like creating your fighter in mortal kombat armageddon

Despite being the right age for it, I never got into Mortal Kombat. I tried it out for a few minutes but just didn't like it as much as I liked Street Fighter 2. So, a lot of the references in this were lost on me, but I do have to say that the production values were excellent here, and I loved how the fights seemed to flow directly out of the story scenes.
My Final Fight was, with, Baraka and Johnny Cage his name was Johnny Savage, then it was a mix of Frost and I forget who else. Overall great Final Chapter. Fighter combos are S tier
so...honest thoughts? everything was great, until the two timelines became many. Then (it seems) it was just a brain storm session, where they took every part they could think of. The stinger at the end is also not really exciting. Just a reason to keep on going with the old instead of trying to further the story. I was on board with it, until that part of the story.

Personally? I think you're being too harsh on Megan Fox's performance as Nitara. I'm not some die hard fan or nothing but, I she does well enough for voicing a henchman character. I think Netherrealm deliberately gave her Nitara, knowing she wouldn't have a real presence outside of a few scenes in the game's main story. That's what I believe, anyways. To each their own.
Her voice performance is literally the worst part of the entire game. Wether it was corporate mandate, bad voice direction or just her terrible performance in general, it is valid to criticize it and call it out.
