I remember playing this game It wasn't fun at all lol. I stopped playing after the siege on the north pole. That legend of Korra game looks really good. I am not a big fan but I do like certain characters like my favorite ones are Zaheer, Ghazan & Amon
For the trophy: does anyone know if you have to beat 3 bosses consecutively in story mode? Does reloading from the main menu count? Does it count in free mode? It's an easy enough game to platinum and I figure I may as well.

That's the problem. Avatar is something a lot of people grew up with, so making a game for a series people fell in love with should've been dedicated to a bigger team with more pay. In 2023 when there are open world games that far exceed this one, why would anyone want to buy this for full price? I honestly don't mind the cutscenes where it's just a still image since they have better design than the whole game. But when the characters don't even read most of their own dialogue during regular gameplay and just say "Yep" or "Okay" or just make random noises, that's sad. Even games that do that at least only do it during side quests and not the main story. And when they do read the dialogue in this game, their lips don't even move and they stand there in a generic pose until a fight begins or something happens. You're right, it's a small studio and they probably had a small budget and that's not their fault, but this game is not gonna sell because it's not what people want in an avatar game.
there are indie games that manage to not look like a bad ps2 game. if they didn't have the budget and time to do heavy graphics, then they should've chosen an art direction that didn't make it look like this (like stardew valley, or bug fables- both gorgeous modern games that chose an art style that complemented their graphical capabilities). nickelodeon is at fault for refusing to invest the money needed to create a big, modern game, but the studio is at fault too for creating THIS in 2023, charging full price for it, and expecting it to sell.
