Btw. to everyone doing this, it still works as of the 12th of october. Dont panic when you "stuck" on the Samsung logo for a while, as it says in the flash menu it can take a few minutes till the device starts. I waited like 5 minutes then it started.

Hi, sure. You can copy the file in a folder on the internal memory (I usually use the Download folder). You won't format the internal memory if you only select the options I've shown in the video. :)

Hi Nicola, you should reinstall twrp; you can try with different twrp versions, this should do the trick. Also, do not forget to install the correct version for your S7 version.

You can force restart the phone by pressing Volume Down + Home + Power and right when the screen goes blank, take your fingers off the volumen down button for a fraction of a second, and then go forward with the right combination for TWRP. It should boot into TWRP afterwards.

Yes, root is not affected by the factory reset. If by any chance, after the reset, there is no SuperSU app anymore, you simply need to install it from the Play Store.
One more question if I may, I try to download torrent files on sd card and said that I do not have a writing permission to write on it, any suggestion?
As far as I know, the T-Mobile S7 (SM-G930T) has a permanently locked bootloader => there is no way to replace the stock recovery. That's a shame but this is the case here.

Hi Cristi, I'm not really sure what you mean by red screen. In any case, you can try to force reboot the device by pressing Vol Down + Power + Home and right after when the screen flickers keep it pressed, it should boot back into Download Mode.
No problem, I'm glad it got solved; it is recommended to always use the latest TWRP that is available; at the time I filmed this it was an older version (3.1.0.0)
This usually happens if you flash the wrong TWRP file; you probably flashed the Flat S7 Variant TWRP. It's easy to solve, go back to download mode and reflash the correct one. :)
It's not that difficult, if you failed just restart the device by long pressing Volume down + Power and after the display goes black immediately go with the normal key combination for recovery mode.

You will have to format data during the installation (so do make a backup beforehand) and of course, everything will work just as fine after root.
Does doing this delete any saved data like apps and downloads you have on your phone?

G930F is the exynos version, so it only works with that variant...

Yes, all data will be lost. As soon as you start odin and open the twrp on your phone.

Must I root before installing TWRP?
You have to isntall TWRP first. Only afterwards can you flash the root zip file.

Watch the video carefully beforehand. It shows exactly what file I loaded into Odin and how I did that. Always download the .img.tar file.

You should try another torrent software, such as Flud or tTorrent Lite. Also, make sure permissions are allowed. Let me know if it worked.
