I'm absolutely blown away by your video. Thank you John, I've been looking for something like this for so long. I really got caught up with the lith process in the darkroom but haven't been able to figure out a way to do it digitally, at least to the same level I was getting the the darkroom. Now I have hope at last! Your prints, your explanation, your delivery - all fantastic. I appreciate your time and effort to put this out there and I look forward to exploring the rest of your videos. Thanks again!
Love the technique (and your pictures!) and the T-shirt. I remember your great teaching from a workshop of yours I did some years ago. Thanks for the information.
Hi John, enjoyed the video and the results! I tried this and experienced an issue when trying to save back into LR. LR didn't recognise the Duotone? Did I miss something?
To save back to lightroom, try Image>Mode>RGB to change it back to an RGB file - doesn't change the image at all, but saves easily (I've incorporated it into an action)

Excellent, very helpful video. I just made my first Lith darkroom print this week and was delighted. I cannot wait to try this in Photoshop.
Looks nothing like the real thing , which is beautiful
Great technique and as usual from a John simple explanation of the process.
Glad you enjoyed it
Really enjoyed this John - very clear instructions and I have enjoyed trying the technique out on some of my images quite successfully
Thx John. The best explanation of Lith so far. Inspiring to get to do it myself :) You are an excellent photographer and guide as well.

Thanks John, I will try this technique for the next club competition.
Best of luck!
Great to see more workshops , John. Keep up the good work
That is a great technique John - I will be trying it soon.
John. This is brilliant. I love lith prints, and this gets me close. Thank you. I am now "Subscribed".
Thanks for the sub!
Excellent technique. I have come with a similar approach using Darktable using parametric masking instead of Photoshop.
Thanks John, loved this!
My pleasure!
Great, i've been looking for something like this because i stil dream about the PHotospeed prints i used to make
