On one side are these luxury trains and on the other side there are trains that middle class or poor people use. They both are polar opposites. In the later ones there is hardly any space to stand( people are even standing in toilets), they get into accidents often ( like no one even bats an eye now), absolutely no cleanliness( smells horrible), food is hardly edible. But govt and upper class and rich people keep focusing on these trains like it is some kind of pride in our country.
The word Maharaja means King of the king's, so therefore he spends his money like one. That's why the price tag is high so that only super rich people can afford to visit and their fore they can maintain their class. Everything on the train is Luxurious so if you want a "Maharaja" type of experience in your life literally you have to pay like one. I hope you understand the concept of train.

Nope, it's not peanuts. $28k is almost half a year of income for an average American. It's a big amount even for an American. Yes, people earn $150k to 450k a year also in America, but that's not very common. Even spending 25% of your yearly income will be a big deal to spend on a train. Would you spend your 6 months' salary to experience a Luxury train? I guess not.
The stark contrast between the normal trains and this one almost pisses me off. I get it, what you pay for is what you get. But they literally fill people in the normal trains like cattle. The conditions are so worse that it makes it look like the government hates human rights. There's no excuse for something that's government's undertaking to be that bad.
