  • The first part of a long, challenging flight I took on June 3rd, 2011. The idea was to talk through my flying so that budding soaring pilots can see some of the decision-making process and choices that we go through when we fly cross-country.     @gxlbiscuit Yes, it is. You may not be able to see the display behind my PDA. I have an old S-NAV (which I keep for the quick-acting analog vario), a backup Borgelt B-40, and the Tasman (which I use for the audio and because its a fair bit less gust-sensitive than the S-NAV unit)

    Thanks for sharing - did you get a GPS log, or have some waypoints that you crossed?
