Agreed. Duncan was dominant in his prime. There's no coincidence that he won after david robinson and before manu and parker and the spurs will not win a championship without him under pop. He WAS the team.
He undeniably had way more help than most, but most of the greats had great players around them and good coaching

@@tashrif46 agreed and parker got benched for speedy claxton at times for bad play. Ginobili was averaging less than 10 ppg. Pop made duncan do all the work while everyone sat there and watched him.

On the other hand, Becky Hammon played in the water-down less competitive WNBA ALSO for about 15 years and was only a 6-time All-Star. She won NO world championships and NO mvps. Also nobody selected her in the WNBA draft, but Tim Duncan was selected as the #1 Overall Draft Pick by the San Antonio Spurs. Add to these facts that Tim Duncan is only 1 year older than Becky Hammon and Tim Duncan played for the San Antonio Spurs for 19 years while Becky Hammon played for the San Antonio Stars for only 7 years, it's pretty clear who is more valuable and more accomplished and more meaningful and who has done more for Greg Popovich, the San Antonio Spurs organization, and the city of San Antonio. Ya know, I've only started watching these videos since last season and til today I've always seen Jefferson and Williams separately. I've always seen them as two bald brothas who used to play in the NBA and now are just speaking nonsense most of the time, but I didn't realize til now that I've never seen them together and honestly I'd love to see more of them together.
