Gave this a listen, tracks one and two sounded especially like a perfect combination of adventure/granola indie music and the Minecraft soundtrack. Really emphasizes the feeling of whimsy and adventure. Super fun.

AVAA. It's wild to me hearing Ninja Tune described as a non hip-hop label, because back in the day they were *the* label for weird UK hip-hop / trip-hop-adjacent acts. (The curation was still great back then, though.)

Man I hope you dive into some UK rap soon there’s a lot of good artists soon to drop music. AJ Tracey, Skepta, Headie One, etc are all ramping up to drop albums. I’m american and I listen to a lot of stuff over there and there’s so many good artists past Central Cee, Dave and Little Simz who are really the only UK artists most Americans know Skepta included he’s the 🐐 More American ears gotta take in the 🔥 coming from across the pond.

@@professorskye "Ghetts - On Purpose, with Purpose" is a good UK album that came out in February this year. The second track "Mount Rushmore" is 3 UK legends just spitting. The third "Double Standards" has some great political lyrics. "Street Politics" is some fantastic storytelling. Although admittedly the album is a bit bloated with some filler.
