This song is simply a masterpiece as it represents the Human race in a flawless manner. Listen to the song and picture the rise of mankind as it opens its eyes to the world. 00:00 - 00:50 Humans arrive in Lordaeron and starts to explore its wonders. 00:50 - 01:45 Humans diligently begin to construct their kingdoms with great ambition and aspiration towards greatness. 01:45 - 02:13 As their kingdoms grow, their inherent nobility and power rise to newer heights. 02:14 - 02:35 Humanity reaches its apex and shines like constellation to others. 02:35 - 03:05 The Burning Legion and the Scourge strike at humanity - at first from the shadows but eventually bringing the ultimate collapse of Lordaeron. 03:05 - 03:55 Shattered and filled with despair, humanity lies in ruins; however, Jaina Proudmoore appears, rallying the human survivors of Lordaeron under her banner. 03:55 - 04:17 They land in the mysterious land of Kalimdor in search for a new home. Destroyer120296 It's definitely fan made. People don't quantify songs like this and partition off certain parts of it to represent certain visuals or ideas. This music piece was made before Lordaeron, Stromgarde, Stormwind, or any of those human cities were ever really fleshed out. RTS are not successful anymore. People want fast and easy games without having to learn much. MOBAs are now the cool thing for players because it is basically an RTS with one unit. You see how Starcraft2 does ... okaay... and other RTS games that were releasedsince 2010 disappeared one week after they were out :( sad times
DThunderBird Do you really think so? Now, Starcraft2 is a good title which does not betray the fans of the old classic game. Yet, the number of players shrinked fast. Blizzard introduced a free to play version and made every expansion into a standalone game. But nothing holds enough players for a new and good RTS title. Of course many people play the old Warcraft games or Age of Empires. But mostly for nostalgic reasons. These games do not get many new players, especially not teenagers. Quick, easy and casual games are the trend today and RTS does not go with that. People do not even look for new RTS games and what new features they introduce. There is literally no interest. Since Blizzard also noticed that and even made the experience with Starcraft2, I would not be surprised if they would not want to make Warcraft4. Fans of the old game would buy it again as they did with Starcraft2, but it would end the same way. Instead Blizzard also focuses on casual and easy stuff like Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and even brought changes that made Diablo3 and WoW super casual. Maybe when the trends change we might see this genre being popular again. But for now RTS is simply dead. No matter what title comes out.
In 2006, it was my first time playing this game. All my friends and classmates had computers during elementary school, but I didn't, which made me feel jealous as they talked about it. To avoid feeling left out, I even lied about playing it, and how I defeated an Insance AI. However, when I turned 13 that year, my mom finally agreed to buy me a PC.
Crazy how this is the same composer since StarCraft, so it makes sense how is this so good and nostalgic, this composer is legend amongst legends in music taste
"The various cultures of Azeroth, who were never fast friends. There was no love lost between them. They had no common heritage. They had no common history. They really didn't like each other down the stretch of years. But in the face of this onslaught-in response to these badass orc leaders-they came together. And they founded a union based on honor and righteousness. And a deep seeded drive to dispense indiscriminate justice upon those who threatened their homelands. This Alliance saved the world. Alliance, do you remember who you are!? YOU ARE THE ALLIANCE OF LORDAERON!"
After seeing the Reforged fiasco, this comment section and this song just feels so sad to me Like a glory days of the past, long gone and never to return again
Lord Kil'jaeden *Pandas fleeing everywhere* the great maelstrom pulses with unholy power and a swarm of demons come flying out like locusts. Burning, pillaging wherever they went. dragging the prisoners into the Dark Maelstrom. Thrall senses this great change and takes back control of Orgrimmar. *Garrosh raises his axe toward the old warchief* I am the Warchief of Orgrimmar, you will not take my throne! *Garrosh's blow connects with the Warchiefs back*. as the warchief lays there he looks into the face of his killer, seeing a red glow from the great orcs eyes *had the demons been playing him all along?*. good enough for a sequel?

@Noel T. Lat Amazingly, had the Elves bothered to help during the initial scourge outbreaks, things might've turned out differently for Lordaeron and the Old Alliance. Or maybe not, by that point the various Kingdoms were already on their way to splitting off again due to the strain of maintaining the internment camps for the Orcs, and no one really wanted to deal with both former enemies and what was then hearsay about a plague. Add on talk of a cult spreading, the Gnomes going radio silent, and Gilneas as well as Silvermoon effectively leaving the Alliance, things looked grim. From there it really was just Lordaeron on its own left to deal with the undead plague. After Arthas came back as a Death Knight and killed the King, Garithos was effectively the highest ranking official left. I'd be pretty fucking salty with my former allies after everything that happened as well.
@@mrbigglezworth42 "Silvermoon leaving the Alliance" lmao they got invaded by all of the Scourge lost more than half of their civilization and still fought for the Alliance. Nah, Garithos was an inept racist piece of shit Also some of the first responders to the plague were high elf priests
@@mrbigglezworth42 technically,he wasn't the highest-ranking official by the time king terenas died, death knight arthas had to deal with silver hand leaders, lord uther the lightbringer (killed in "digging up the dead") and halahk the lifebringer (killed in "king arthas"). but yeah, during the scourging of lordaeron, majority of the remaining human forces were effectively controlled by grand marshal garithos, not by the religious holy light sect/order of paladins.

FOR THE ALLIANCE OF LODEARON!!!!!!
Crazy how this is the same composer since StarCraft, so it makes sense how is this so good and nostalgic, this composer is legend amongst legends in music taste
Since Warcraft 2 actually even

Its bring me back to those days midnight where whole gang of people playing those fun map and tower defense until sunrise.
After seeing the Reforged fiasco, this comment section and this song just feels so sad to me
Like a glory days of the past, long gone and never to return again

hey look a panda! *shoots it down* there much better.
come to think of it, I'd learn Latin just to sing this song.
Gsaror Let me help you! *raises hand to the sky* let the reign of chaos begin again! *fel meteors scatter across pandaria burning everything*
Lord Kil'jaeden
*Pandas fleeing everywhere* the great maelstrom pulses with unholy power and a swarm of demons come flying out like locusts.
I've literally cried from first chords. How long ago it was...
This was the most beautiful time I guess and man so much of Nostlagia and I'm literally tears...

When stressed out, some people meditate, some people workout, some people do yoga, but when i'm stressed out after a long day at work, i listen to this masterpiece, and immediatly, i find peace
The music gives me a feel of something grand and noble lost forever and that the survivors are picking through the rubble of a once glorious past to live on and create a new future.

"Never trust an elf, it will break your alliance"
-Garithos 2002
Errr...in a way, he's "right". Pretty much any bad thing that can be traced to the Burning Legion on Azeroth can be traced to the elves.
@@mrbigglezworth42 "Silvermoon leaving the Alliance" lmao they got invaded by all of the Scourge lost more than half of their civilization and still fought for the Alliance. Nah, Garithos was an inept racist piece of shit
Also some of the first responders to the plague were high elf priests
@@mrbigglezworth42 technically,he wasn't the highest-ranking official by the time king terenas died, death knight arthas had to deal with silver hand leaders, lord uther the lightbringer (killed in "digging up the dead") and halahk the lifebringer (killed in "king arthas").
but yeah, during the scourging of lordaeron, majority of the remaining human forces were effectively controlled by grand marshal garithos, not by the religious holy light sect/order of paladins.
God damn this makes me so sad. I miss the old Blizzard, Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 were some of the best games ever made. Their games nowadays don't seem to have that charm like they used to.
Yup, i think everyone that ever gamed on PC loves at least one blizzard game to death. But lately Blizzard has been so-so. Diablo 3 is so-so i heard, WoW i don't know but i hear polarized opinions. Starcraft 2 is decaying and Blizzard failed to keep their Korean audience interested in it. Hearthstone was a gold mine Blizzard refused to dig into.....
Imagine playing this in the church.

All these comments quoting units from the game, i can really hear them what they are saying just from reading it.
Thats how nostalgic this game is
So happy to hear this music in the new Warlords of Draenor login screen music.
Picture the scene, you're looking over the ruins of Blizzard empire which was once a powerful empire while this music is playing.
I miss that time. After school the only thing to do was to reach level 6 of any hero just to see what kind of "ultimate" skills they had.
Absolutely magnificent ❤Our childhood day's..

After 16 years,l miss my childhood game so much❤😂

Don't forget the Night Elves.
