- Here’s a special video. There are trash trucks all over the place in London! Here’s some clips of various trucks throughout the city that I was able to get. Expect more London videos soon!

Seems that your Garbos have a tough heavy job in the UK I am in Australia, we mainly have automated side loaders. Cant wait til our government let us travel again coz my family are going to UK and i vant wait 2 check out the differe nt bin trucks!

I gotta agree with u. Our country does have a lot of hand chucking. That does happen all the time. But probably not always in other places in the UK

The reason there is a lot of hand grabbing and no side loaders is because its in the middle of London so it would be the same as having a side loader in New York. Lots of areas outside of huge city's mainly use the bin lifts if you watch some of my videos you can see what the average council does.
They have pretty unique designs for their garbage trucks I'll say

Dont worry mack mcnelius, our country drives on different sides of the road. We drive on the left, u drive on the right. Some European countries also drive on the right such as Germany or the Netherlands

I feel like Europe is behind the curve on waste collection compared to the United States. We have automated side-loading trucks in most cities and towns.
BNSF1995 Actually it‘s more the other way around. See, European cities are not suited for an ASL coz the streets are too tight. This can be simply traced back to the different style of building cities. If you got into more rural parts in Europe, they use ASLs too. And too say it honestly, I think the European garbage trucks are better. They are more technological and better designed. The American rear loaders feel outdated to European ones. While the US Rear Loaders have a two staged cycle and manual lifters, the Europeans have one sweep cycles and automated lifters. But, the important thing is, you can’t really compare garbage collection in the US to Europe because it‘s so different. American rear loaders are good for the American market where there has to be a two staged cycle for example, but it would be completely useless in Europe. Same with ASLs, most European ASLs have comb lifters because most of the time, there is no room for a grabber to grab the bin while the US has grabbers on all their ASL because there is enough space in residential suburbs.
The arm grapper wouldn't be ideal here where I live in Wales UK. On gradient, with car park each side of the wheelie bins. It's ideal in USA because of plenty of space. 😲
and your trucks still look like from the 60s even if they are new European trucks match their era
