Paul , it’s tough when your down.I was there many , many years ago and had thoughts of what you were having . It took a strong family, good support and personal determination to get out of it ….. it’s not easy mate but I know you can do it . You have multiple issues to tackle so prioritize them and fight like you have never fought before mate .I know you can do it and be the happy Paul you have been before .you have acknowledged all the things that are not quite right and you have a new year to get on track . So many people out there love you Paul …… you can do it my friend.take care 👍

Big respect to you Paul, been there myself, stay positive mate, and keep on with walking. I had throat cancer . Had my voice box removed, then after 5 years I lost my wife. That hit me hard. I took up walking and thoroughly enjoy it now.
I now have a battle with bowel cancer, but keeping positive. You are doing the right thing mate. I wish you all the best , and stay positive.

Paul upmost respect to you talking about this. You’ve done the hardest part going and seeking help. Proud of you mate. The only way is up from now on. One day at a time. Great to see you getting out walking. I was at a low point a while back. Got help and then decided to join a football team we set up for lads of a certain bmi and or have mental health issues. Best thing I done as I’ve made 50 new friends. Thought my football days were long gone 20 yr ago. Unfortunately I ended up getting a injury. So was out for a few weeks. but now I vlog for the team took inspiration from watching yours , Jenko’s & Luke C vlogs and set up a you tube channel for the team. So thank you Paul. I wish you well in your recovery you will get sorted I know you will. Regarding prescriptions look into a NHS PPC think mine cost £11 a month over 10 months could work out cheaper for you. Will Look forward to your next vlog. Talk about how you are feeling even when you are on the road or on a walk take care mate .

You have made the right choice by going to the doctors and your physical and mental health is the most important thing.

Paul, I have struggled with depression, anxiety, and what has now been identified as C-PTSD for years. I'll leave it there and spare the details (it would take a paragraph to list all the reasons) other than to say that it's not just one aspect of my life but pretty much my life in general is just hell and has been since I was a child (I'll be 43 in a couple of months). Personally, I don't take medication because it leaves me feeling "foggy" and hard to think and function but, as long as it helps you without side effects there's absolutely no shame in using those tools to help. Please remember your kids... even if you have no other reason to hang on they NEED you here on this earth and in their lives. Everyone experiences life in different ways and no one has the right to pass judgement on those of us who suffer. Just remember that you're not alone and that you are important, needed, valued, and have a purpose. Above all, hang in there my friend!!!

Hi Paul been watching you for quite a while and have real respect that you have managed to admit where your problems lie. I know it's not nice that it's all come to a head over Christmas but not being able to hid away in the lorry has helped you admit and get the help you need. Nobody wants to see you come to harm especially your family. I find it really hard to talk through my problems and my anxiety goes through the roof making me not want to get out of bed some days and makes me question my whole being, but my sister thought me a trick to write down your problems its sometimes easier for you to show people if you don't feel you can say the words. So glad you thought twice and have got the help tiny steps is all it takes you will get there just tiny steps. Love and respect to you

Hi Paul I have been down this road and like u the hardest thing was to admit that I needed help mine started through bullying in a job I was at. I also got to the point if no return but I was lucky someone spotted me and talked me into going to the doctors to get the help o needed that was 2 yrs ago now. I am so lucky that I have gd friends who understand and are always willing to talk if I need it, I also went through counselling at wellbeing services and they were very helpful like u I'm a hgv driver I love my job but at times can be the loneliest place in the world so don't be scared to pick up the phone to talk to someone good luck and I hope everything works out for u.....ps love the channel

Mate like I’ve said from day 1 your honesty and absolutely brutal. You’ve taken the first and hardest step by realising that you were/are the problem and opening up to a professional and it’s not a sign of weakness and before storming out of the house you knew that wasn’t the answer, and it takes a real man to admit it and you are in the best possible place now and once the tablets kick in you will start to realise that your family is worth living for mate, and the Lake District saved me big time, keep talking pal and being honest with everyone especially the children.💓💓👍

Hi Paul, I am with you on the medication bit, I can't swallow tablets at all, I am also talking to a therapist who is helping me regain my self confidence and self esteem after narcissistic abuse from my Ex husband, it's a bit like PTSD you have good days and bad. I do a walk a day around the lanes and fields near my home and seeing as I grew up on a dairy farm being back out in the countryside is helping me a lot, it helps me to clear my mind , think things through and if I do feel teary I just lean on a gate with my back to the road and have a good cry, it helps to relieve some stress too, have a good week and if possible find a favourite place that you can go to just to daydream and think, hope this year is kind to you and your family

What a complete honest guy you are . It takes a big man to admit they have problems . You are not alone , I lost my brother to suicide 8 years ago today . Every day I ask myself why didn't he call me , why didn't he ask for help . You are doing it mate top marks for being open about it I'm sure many others are going through the same but are too proud to ask for help , you can get through it with help from family and friends . Top job mate onwards and upwards .

Very good vlog Paul, many who do not dare to ask or talk about problems, maybe some dare now.
Regarding medications for blood pressure / cholesterol, take them, it helps. speaks from personal experience. Just have to adapt the medicine and you will notice a big difference, a difference you did not know was there.
Happy new year to you and your family and hope for many nice vlogs ahead in 2022
