Watched this movie when i was a kid and still I can't believe they created this in 1992 and took almost a decade to make it which included 8 years of research and the animator Yugo visited India more than 60 times with his team to study the culture, costumes and architecture. It truly is the best tribute or adaptation of Ramayan for the modern era.

I remember watching this Ramayana Movie like it was yesterday. It's an amazing movie. You'll actually root for Rama and Hanuman so hard because their characters have strong values, good established stories and you literally feel at one with them. That movie makes you connect with Ramayana more than any Ramayana screenplay ever created. It's by far the best Ramayana. And the music+songs. (Janani Hum Rama Dyut Hanuman)

Bhai Ramayan the legend of prince Rama ki baat hi kuch aur hai. Kya amazing soundtrack thaa uss anime adaptation ka.
'Panchvati ' , 'Sumiran karle' , ' Janani mei Ram doot', 'ShriRaghuvar ki vanar sena' are some of the most gloriously sung songs with beautiful lyrics. Aaj ke zamane ke kai bhajan se zyada aur mulyavan hai uske lyrics. One can tell jinhone bhi uss movie pr kaam kiya thaa woh kitne devoted thee.
From the hindi voice actors , the singers, the animators , the video choreographers , the directors everything leagues ahead for the time it came out.
