WELCOME back to my another TRIP REPORT :)
This trip report recorded my economy class flight experience on Cathay Pacific, from Taipei to Hong Kong onboard on of their regional Boeing 777-300 aircraft. This flight is a special flight by comparing with other CX flights as it departs from Osaka Kansai and making a stop over at Taipei, therefore I am joining the second sector on the journey!
The flight was a short flight, which took around 1.5 hours from Taipei to Hong Kong. This routing is one of the most competitive and busiest ones as plenty of airlines do serve this route. Very soon, in July 2024, a new airline (Starlux Airlines/JX) will also join into the competition of this routing! If there is a chance, hope I can try on their service and create another video to you guys!
Given the short flight time and the crew had limited time to deliver the service, they had already done so well on delivering the service. However, I did not experience anything that could make this trip an outstanding and memorable one. But still, I would definitely consider CX on this route if other factors like the fare price and the flight departure time fits my upcoming plan!

Like it Edwin however the flight number tells you CX565/564 you have Japanese and Taiwanese passenger here because the final destination is Kansai Airport. For me my most flown route under Airline is actually this 香港🇭🇰 HKG-MNL 马尼拉🇵🇭
Yes! I just returned HKG from KIX and my fd was onboard CX565 again but from Kansai instead of TPE!
How’s your experience on flying from HKG to MNL?
@EdinTse For HKG-MNL I had an excellent service and crew were top notch. In 2001 this was a B777-200 A340-300 2005-2006 B747-400 & B777-300. For that route if I went PR Traditional Chinese 🇭🇰🇹🇼 spelling 菲律賓航空 top notch 5 star Skytrax rated CX service

I haven't flown this route in a long time. When did they introduce hot meals again? I only received goody bag last time
I think CX probably resume hot meal service since the end of the pandemic. As China Airlines (CI) do serve hot meal at all times, which is one of the strengths they have on such competitive route, CX is forced to uplift their service level again in order to compete.
