Have you ever tried making a pasta sauce? I have always used polymer clay for miniature, but recently have been interested in air dry clays because conditioning polymer clay is something I hate doing.

no, i haven't made mini pasta before. but if i'll be making one, i'll be doing the same thing i did in this video! maybe adjust the consistency a bit by adjusting the amount of cornstarch. note that it's going to shrink as it cures so the volume won't be the same after.

No, you need the glue as a basic ingredient for this so that it adheres to the piece but if you only need to thin out the consistency, water is fine.
