I need a more detailed description of how to get to that swing pleaaaase
Me too it looks really cool
I was just glad he stop trying to get up there. My anxious was not ready
@@4ourofus Its right before the bridge. Gotta jump over and go down to get to the swing. Seen a lot of people go down there but never knew why, looks scary. Its in the "Coast Walk Trail". The trail itself is a beautiful as well. Leads to the Cave store.
San Diego has many hidden gems that don’t get advertised on the tour websites but Jay did a great job mentioning some of the best hidden gems. Good job bro!
This man just showed us some stairs as a hidden gem in San diego

Everything is art in Cali lol. My wife and I took it for granted after being out here in the midwest for a year🤮🤢 finally moving back home on Friday
Hey it’s hidden to me. Haha I’ve been here for almost 20 years and have just heard about those swings last year.
Hahahhahaha I’m weak

Fellow San Diegan here. Thanks for showing off our beautiful city.
The swing is back up. It gets taken down once in a while to get replaced with a new on for variety. Theres actually 5 more swings near the birch one all within walking distance. I think originally there was only 3, but over the years people started adding more for fun.
We just moved here in SD a little over a year ago and just started exploring. These are really cool spots! Thanks for sharing awesome content! Looking forward to more like this! 🤙

Of course, Luke!
That walkway in La Jolla is called Coast Walk. I have a great story from the 70's about it.
Yup! Coast Walk Trail! Whats your story?
@@Jaycation While in college at UCSD I lived in a rental on Herschel. I used to go running either up and over Mt Soledad or for a shorter route I'd run tot the start of coast walk past the Cove, Boomers, and the Children's pool to Nautilus up Nautilus past the Jr High and then cut through a neighborhood back to Herschel. One day there was an earthquake and a storm the same day. The rain had been light so I figured I'd run along coast walk that night. I'm bebopping along enjoying runner's high when I get to the stairs to a short bridge to cross to the next cliff. I hit the second step and realize there is NO BRIDGE three steps down! I almost ran off the cliff and dropped to the rocks below. The earthquake had taken out the bridge. Fortunately I was able to stop on time. They put up caution signs the next morning Never ran Coast walk in the dark again!!
Daygo represent! 💪
SD for life! Thanks Phillip
What's Daygo mean?

We visited San Diego for one day as part of a larger California vacation a couple months ago. So we didn't get to see much but loved what we saw that day. We had planned a vacation to San Diego for about a month from now but have cancelled it because of uncertainty of what would be open due to Covid restrictions. We hope to get there again soon - maybe 2022ish. But these are all great spots for us to look up when in town. Especially loved the mural tunnel. Subscribed so we could see any future San Diego gem videos you post. Thanks for taking us along on your travels!
Awesome! Thanks for the support. I hope you get to visit San Diego real soon. Here's to the rest of 2021 and 2022 being better years!

What a charming video. I've been to almost all of these places. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks JellyDonuts! I appreciate the kind words!
I'm moving to San Diego this Summer so I'm super excited.
My daughter and I just went to Civita Park two days ago. But we parked at the bottom of the park. It was definitely a hike to go up the stairs to get to the tunnel. But it was worth it. Surprised how clean it's been maintained. Even the bathrooms smelled good, compared to like Coronado.
Thanks for making this video!
Thanks for watching Hank!
New sub. Loved the vid! Thanks for sharing

Hi Nailea!
Wow!! Thank you Jay!! 🙂😶😯😀😊
Wow thanks for sharing!! Where did you park at in La Jolla cove for the swing?? I’ve been to the birch swings but not the one you shared after!
Glad you liked it! I parked on the street right before you enter the Cove parking and sunny jim's cave. But you can park at the Cove if its not busy... the street near the side entrance of the Coast trail is alot closer to the swings.
Raised by Wolves is definitely a cool little spot! Great drinks and atmosphere.
anything serene and garden like hits the spot for me, number one is great. edit:514 is awesome too.
🤣🤣😂😂😂 that was too funny about you not trying the swing! Also the concrete stairs was pretty nice 👍🏼
Thanks! I was looking for something different to do.
Nice! Enjoy the gems!
Kale Strauss got lucky with that. That’s been there for many years Nokia and other companies made that for there employees. A happy employee is a hard working employee. Awesome video I love how you show our city off.
Thank you. I subscribed.👍✌🏼
Thanks Jeffrey! I appreciate the support.
Nice video bro
I am planning on visiting San Diego first before I plan to move in the future
I’m planning a trip to San Diego and your videos are very helpful. I can’t to go
My wife's hometown is Poway. Been there a lot. Solid restraint in Old Poway Park.
Love the video
Much appreciated Lorena!
Really glad I found your channel. The colab with D vs World.
Thanks for joining! Dan is the man! Hoping to collab with him more in the near future.
Dude. Thanks for mentioning Din Tai Fung. I go to Shanghai 4-5 times per year for business (pre-Covid). Din Tai Fung is literally my favorite restaurant in the world. There is nothing remotely close to their taste here in the Indianapolis area. I leave for vacation in SD in 17 days, and I cannot wait to eat here!!
Do you know if they put the first swing back up? I had big plans on August to visit there🙃. Great context & Thx for sharing😁
Thankkk you
Best stairs in town!!
Dude your a legend for putting all the locations in the description thx
haha i dont want people getting mad that they cant find it.
There's a farmers market near old poway park on Saturday morning. Good time to visit.
Hey bro. I went to SD for the first time in April and I’m back here again for the second time. Im from NYC and moved to Scottsdale last year. I’ve seen most of Arizona so Im thinking to move to San Diego next. I went to the mural, 2nd swing, and stayed at Paradise Point in April. I went to the 1st swing yesterday and deciding on what else to see this weekend. Staying at Hotel Del Coronado this time. Thanks pare! Now I’m going to watch your Hidden Gems in the Summer video.
Wow nice place San Diego❤
Yes! America’s Finest City. 🫶🏽
Yo dude I feeling this video. Me and my GF will be in San Diego and will definitely be checking some of these spots. Expecially the last two.
