My Late Dad, who was Jewish and years ago sold Materials from his Store on Fabric row to the Mummers, would have LOVED THIS PERFORMANCE!!! My Boyfriend and I really enjoyed watching it on New Years on T.V.. We thought that the Captain, who played, Tveye the Father in Fiddle on the Roof, was an excellent dancer and so were many of the Mummer performers!! The Captain also displayed much joy throughout the performance that was heartwarming to watch! We also liked the Matriyoshka Dolls that opened up to reveal either Tveye's daughters or peasant women of the day playing banjos. Quaker City did an awesome job:)!
I'm a proud Philadelphian living in Israel!!!! Unbelievable!!!! To see something like this brings tears of joy to my eyes!!!! Thank you!

Absolutely incredible, fantastic, stupendous, energizing, riveting, outstanding performance! You guys were AWESOME! Thanks for going Jewish! You did it all! Makes me proud to be a Philadelphian in CA.
