I have watched this video many times. The music is so catchy, the band marches and plays so well. And the captain/drum mayor-I am not sure of the correct term for the leader of a string band-your Charlie Chaplin style is just amazing.

This is the best video I've seen of a string band marching in a parade during the year. I like the fact that it also includes the kick line.

They are Mummers. Not just any band. They are from Philadelphia.
Kudos to the arranger. The counter melodies are brilliant. They give the piece a nice swaying lilt.

I'm from South Africa we have something similar but our guys cannot do it like you guys
I have never seen a band like this, it sounds great and it looks funny.
These bands are Mummers and are special to Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
