Thank you, thank you!!! This is just adorable - I love it. Thank you for the tip at the end about the tail - that would have caught me out. Thank you for all your amazing tutorials - I've bought every one of your paid tutorials and I love your new Critters series too.
As we're getting ready for Easter, here's a cute balloon bunny tutorial for you to try out - you've got plenty of time to practise and tweak this design before Easter arrives. The good news is, there are NO PINCH TWISTS at all in this design, so it's perfect if you're just starting out but still want to create something cute. This design buildings on the bunny head design last week - but I do show you a slightly different way to attach the ears - there's always more than one way to do things! I really hope you enjoy this tutorial and please do leave me a comment to let me know what you think. Take care 🐰
Thank you so much Melanie, he is so darn cute and I will use when I need too as this is a simple but yet EFFECTIVE portrait of the bunny!!! Cheers!! from Canada xo
I hope you enjoy this week's tutorial - I love making this little character at this time of year and he/she always goes down well. Please do leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Take care 😊
LOVE THE BUNNY!!! I have tried to make it 6 times, and for whatever reason I can't do the ears to the bottom of the head even though I think I making the round balloon very soft. If you have any advice for me I would greatly appreciate it. :)
I'm really glad you like the bunny. There are a couple of possible reasons why you can't get the ears to the bottom of the head. 1. You might not have let enough air out of the 5-inch round balloon. 2. You need have a longer bit of uninflated balloon at the beginning of the 160 for the ears. I usually leave about an inch uninflated - if that's not working for you try a couple of inches. Let me know how you get on. Take care, Melanie
Just found this rabbit. It is such a cutie. I have to try to make this. Thanks
Hi Andrea. I'm glad you like this little chap - he's great fun to make. I'd love to know how you get on making him. Take care, Melanie 🐰
