(The tsunami was located in Chile and Hawaii) after a 8.8 earthquake hit Chile) I am glad they got these sirens now, all 14 countries hit by the tsunami in 2004 need them. What makes me upset is that tsunami warnings existed since 1967 on the ring of fire (Indonesia is located in it) they just never bothered to put them in these particular countries until it was too late, very sad.
Just a drill they test first so the people don’t have to evacuate since it’s just a test the second time it happens it is not a test and people there must evacuate. The alarm will say it’s just a test at last, if is.
+Nonnof Yobiznes it has chances because the fault that created the tsunami can still create more earthquakes which makes tsunamis. There are also very less faults around Thailand so it is not silly and not a waste of money :)
