This was so beautiful. I have gone through something very similar. Met him in first year of college and spent almost a decade convincing my parents and ultimately got married in 2018. It has been 15 years since I know my Man and every single moment has been beyond awesome. I know it requires a lot of guts to reveal and revisit old times (and when your family is resisting) but it makes everything even more beautiful. God bless you guys, stay happy and in-Love always. While listening, I literally felt like going through my own journey. The guilt feeling, hiding from everyone and all of a sudden getting caught by mom...
Luckily from that point we have spent 18years including 9years as married.

It truly has been a struggle.. hiding it from our parents, long distance, life issues.. Life made me grow up and accept it for what it is including the struggle and sadness. Let's see what's to come.
