We have replaced the bad cells with new ones. The new battery pack is longer than DJI's. The DJI's pack is made from special sized cells. Our new battery pack is also fit and working with the controller.

this is the easy part.where did you get the battery and correct connecter from?
most likely from the old battery, just remove the connector. You can use any similar sized 2s battery.
