Thanks for this video. Yes the Contax Zeiss 28-85 seems to always have a worse performance at 28mm with chromatic aberration, softness, vignetting, etc... But from 35mm up to 85mm, I believe it's on par with the 35-70mm, which is also a fantastic Contax Zeiss lens.

the Tamron should be mounted on non native camera...to avoid possible software correction...

The front of the lens rotating means you can't use a petal lens hood, that is why the zeiss has a round lens hood.

Only Circle style lens hood can also use cpl filter, which the lotus one can not do
