I actually know someone who once was gonna be a zombie and wore light grey sweat pants and A matching shirt while doing his bloody makeup, but then the blood failed and spilled over his clothes and stained his face red, so he ended up going as a tampon instead 😂
Bryndís Þóra baheep 😂😂😂😂😂😂
"I don't even spend $30 on regular dresses"
"The dress is $300" "Oh that's not bad at all"
Jazzeswas the cheapest but looks the most expensive..
Cruella deville vibes-
Gather ‘round, children, to hear some piping hot tea: not one of the “expensive” outfits is worth more than $100 and none of the “cheap” outfits are any working person’s definition of cheap
The witch one was fairly inexpensive, though that would be the most I would pay for one costume for one day of my life.
None of them spent 17$ though...
The witch wench did. $10 plus the broom
@@jamiesale1096 22 is not 17? and it was 22 even with the coupon code. so no....
$66 isnt even cheap
The costume itself, (the dress and the hat,) was $17. They were of course going to compare the lowest price with the highest one to show the most contrast, it’s marketing, not clickbait. I’m not trying to tell anyone what to think or trying to change anyone’s opinions, just sharing mine.
Also none of them were $2200... xD
Me when I heard Nina was going to be a private: I wonder if she’s going to get the same one as mine.
5 minutes later she gets the same one
That's trippy
Juan Cortez Muro uhh, wha?
I think you meant pirate not private.
Colleen LeBreton that’s what I was thinking..I was very confused 😂
weird flex but ok
Y'all shouldve checked etsy for the expensive, authentic, custom handmade costumes there.
Right? That $13 witch hat for the expensive costume was trash. You can get fancy handmade velvet hats on etsy.
Yes!
Rachel Pryor EXACTLY! That’s literally a hat you can find at walgreens. The only costume that actually looked expensive was Jazz’s
@@skeetulrich6988 Hers was more authentic I think. The partial corset and many pieces look like you can find on ebay or Amazon in clothes or goth or Victorian. I go to a lot of Rennaisance Fairs and have many costumes pieced together over time. The witch hat is not authentic but just somthing that was made up at some point.
J Moore none of their halloween costumes were remotely historically accurate or authentic.
Where did Chloe’s “high-end” tights come from?! They’re BEAUTIFUL and less than $15!
13:57
“it’s pretty warm on halloween” CANT RELATE i’m in canada🤣
Tia Tait lol right?? 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦♥️
Same, except I live in Indiana, United States.
I live in NZ, a month away from summer
Lol....Im in Australia, Halloween day here was around 30 deg C.......
This. Have to pick costumes to wear over a snow suit
Jazz’s eyebrows have left the chat
🤣🤣
It took me so long to realize she bleached them
Looks terrible TBH, I couldn't figure out what was so weird looking about her face, her eyes look super tiny.
I noticed them off bat and I didn’t wanna comment but I really hate it
okay say it with me kids; ANYTHING OVER $15 IS NOT CHEAP
phew, glad we got that out ☺️
Suzy Marie-Fleur Hi!! This is my cheap Halloween costume!! It’s only $60!!!
What? Are you joking? Is my calculator broken? 30 bucks are 276 kroner in my country
And thats like what i pay for a nice lunch everyday?!
I would spend at least 40-70 dollars on each clothing item and thats only at h&m nothing fancy
Martine there must be something not converted correctly. While in the US (I’m Canadian by the way) coats/jackets from H&M can be 50-70, most items are 20-30$ USD
Shannon Collins i recently bought a sweater which was 499 = 54 dollars
And the really cheap stuff on sale which i go for alot also is 17 dollars, but thats like its winter now and we want to get out all the summer stuff price
Shannon Collins i just thought under 30 dollars was weird maybe im just to privileged 🙈
Nobody:
Absolutely nobody:
Nobody in the universe
Me: “who pays for these?”
The video budget? Like, this is a production company. They have a budget for every video.
Ohhh, makes sense lol
To answer ur question, rich people like Jojo Siwa, but she would need pink and sparkly so never mind. No tea no shade or anything but...
☕️
Nina: it’s not that expensive
Also Nina: it’s 66 dollars
Was anyone else disappointed with the quality of the expensive costumes? The costumes look like they shouldn’t cost more than $200.
8:54 "see u in the great depression" I SCREAMED
I felt bad for Jazmine when she said “ well my arms are apparently fatter than everyone else’s”
She needs to know that she is perfect just the way she is♡︎
sorry I can't she is amazing but she is obese she has an unhealthy BMI take this from someone who is losing weight
ryan mowchun do you know her BMI?
@@dejahall3500Her weight is 330lbs (it's in the fitness makeover video she did with Michelle. *That puts her bmi at 46!!* Insanely unhealthy! Anything over 30 is obese, over 35 is moderate risk and *a bmi over over 40 means you're level 3 HIGH RISK.* Her healthy weight range for her age and height is 133lbs - 179lbs - so she's basically double what she should be. We need to stop normalising and celebrating obesity - it's literally killing people and it will kill Jazz eventually if she doesn't change her habits. It might be easy now while she's young, but she is going to suffer, badly. If she lost weight it could seriously inspire some subscribers to get healthy and avoid future health complications.
@@Hazeydaze92 while thats true, fatshaming its unaceptable and people should be able to love them selfs Whatever size.
You can't make people be healthy, its a choice not a obligation.
Look guys as a bigger girl myself I’m telling you this. You need to STOP using the words “unhealthy and obese” nobody wants to hear that especially when she is willingly putting this type of content on the internet where she shows off her body. She loves her body, and she should I can guarantee that if you were the same size as her you would feel terrible about people like you in the comments saying that she is unhealthy. That just makes me sad. If someone said this to me I would break down because I extremely self conscious about my body and just now starting to learn to love it, I don’t have to change my shape for rude and selfish people like you and neither does Jazz
All of the expensive ones were amazing, they all looked gorgeous omg
"You don't wanna empty ur wallet on a costume"
Me, a cosplayer left the chat
Deku... Todoroki... Bakagou... Dabi... MY HERO ACADEMIA
Cyanide Eyes Same girl, Same! But there is a difference. A Halloween costume you wear only once or twice and we, as cosplayers, wear our outfit A LOT. But that doesn’t mean I don’t relate.
As Is thank you SO MUCH for not using overly scary effects or scream sound effects in this video.
This way, you've made it accessible to watch for people with anxiety and PTSD>
The expensive flapper, mind blown!! Jazz looks amazing and so confident and happy. This stylist knows her stuff!! Also obsessed with the witch bodysuit and pirate belt 😍
Them: *Calling a 50 dollars costume cheap*
Me: "Ouch"
Well, I guess it's a good thing I don't partake in Halloween activities😂😂
The blonde brows are too spooks for me
Oh I thought she didn’t have any
jazzmyne's confidence helped me recover from an eating disorder over the years, i'm really glad she put herself out there
Been a year I am still thinking about how beautiful the expensive costumes were in this video. I miss this series!!
“You don’t wanna be emptying your bank accounts for a costume.”
Me, a cosplayer: *sweats profusely*
0:03 that laugh gave me ariana grandes sam & cat/victorious vibes...just me ok...
Ryleigh nah i got them too lmao
omg jaz looked AMAZING in the expensive flapper dress
If you told me that the 2 thousand dollar costume was actually put together from shopping at goodwill, I would've believed you.
By far the best cheap vs expensive video you guys have done!!! These LOOKS! 👀
Oh it says for men guess I can’t have it
😂
.
Ok boomer
That second witch costume speaks to my soul. 🖤🖤🖤
‘You don’t need the pants.... 👖you NEED the sword though.’🗡⚔️
How many times have I said that getting for work lol 😂
Thanks for adding closed captions!
Loved this one! Best trio, best expensive outfits! Thank you to the amazing stylist!
Everyone else: *looks great in their costume*
Me: *in a garbage bag*
People: What are you?
Me: a garbage bag cuz I'm trash
Crystal Ling I was a garbage can once. It had a built-in trash can, and I went around my neighborhood in it and picked up all those little plastic candy wrappers, bc they are bad for the environment. DUH.
(This year I’m going to be Billie Eilish.)
Them: it’s warm on Halloween
Me:(a Canadian) tf I’ve gone trick or treating in a snow suit on several occasions
Lily MacPhail lol same! NB here! 🇨🇦♥️
In the uk like:
My costume must have at least three layers
I love how the "expensive" costumes had *one* component that made them "expensive." And the "cheap" costumes...wait, only one chose a cheap costume.
$50 is pretty cheap for a costume depending on what you are also Nina wanted accessories so it costed more also plus size things are always marked up which is unfair.
Jazz’s costume was by far the best! Seriously my jaw DROPPED 😍
Chloe has my typa energy bro she sooo..positive and loud and I luvv that
I’m so glad that jazzy finally got something as expensive as the others
It was still under 1000. The other outfits were over 1500 dollars. So her look was still a third cheaper.
The expensive costumes were just regular clothes... but when they were buying the cheap costumes they were saying they didn’t want the costumes to look like they were trying to make regular outfits into costumes. If you looked at the prices of the pieces that made the expensive outfits “costumes”, they were all under $20. This video was basically just “look at how many expensive items we can put on at once”. I was expecting intricate cosplay costumes, or costumes from a professional costumer.
Buzzfeed’s inconsistency strikes again.
I swear to god jazzmyne’s entire personality revolves around being plus size. I’m fat too but that doesn’t mean I need to go around complaining about clothes shopping and sizes.
Lavaloo does she actually complain?
i loved the stylists' looks for them this time around, jazzmyn's outfit was so gorgeous the silver was blinding
I love that Jazz finally has one of these videos where her expensive version looks just as amazing as the other two.
Honestly I’ve never seen anyone wear a historically accurate witch costume
Stylist: the dress is three hundred
Girls: ooh.... wow... that’s not bad at all!
Me: Wha-... How-... *$300?!?!*
Going up four sizes seems extremely cautious, but I always do that when I buy super cheap clothes on eBay and it's usually perfect 😂
Yes when buying Chinese always go bigger.
I want that witch costume. I would wear it every year to make up for the cost
stop 👏 giving 👏 jasmyne 👏 the 👏 cheaper 👏 outfit 👏 for 👏 goodness 👏 sake 👏
i would really like to see a version of this, just with christmas dresses
Seriously I hope yalls day month and year goes good❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I’m praying this for all y’all
Jazzmyne is the only one with a historically accurate outfit 😂
actually not that much
KPS tru but hey it’s kinda accurate if it was a rich flapper
@@brizagranadeno no because the main features of the fashion of that period are kinda lost. Like the length of the hem (it was mostly bellow the knees and above the ankles), the fit of the dress (they were actually very loose because the goal was to have the most flat figure possible). The shoes are off too because heels were not that tall or thin and the shape of the shoe was round, something like professional salsa dancing shoes, and other things like the turbant. But because its a costume I understand that it will not be accurate
KPS ik but at least it’s better than the rest
KPS and it’s not as inaccurate as the pirate and witch
jazz’s purple flapper dress looks like the dress Alice wears in breaking dawn pt 1
Ommggg fr we need to be friends
that black dress nina has on when trying on the outfits is so cute!!
Jazz the flapper costume was amazing on you!!! Maybe try finding a higher quality/ but still good value dress and headpiece. The boa didnt bother me!
And I... oop! Just got to the high end flapper dress!!!! Omg! Worth every penny! Hahaha
Minus the hat and cape Chloe was basically wearing my everyday look. 😂
She was wearing my everyday look WITH the hat and cape 😂
Danm I’m $500 in debt but still paid $60 fora set of angel wings ripp😂😂 gotta do it for spooky season
Jelena Fallon I hope your debt gets all payed off❤️
Amira Brown thankyou🙏 it will, there was a mix up with the phone company and it charged me $500 in data while I was away on a holiday😬
The stylist did amazing! They all look so good!!!
The stylist hit it out of the park. I love all these looks. But that flapper costume is gorgeous. The cheap flapper was nice to but this expensive one was the bomb.
I would of loved to see a high end Vampire
I would NEVER pay that price for a 1920s costume, like, it's not even historically accurate
Jazz flapper dresses are shapeless. They aren't meant to show curves. All those costumes are historically inaccurate, but at least they got shape correct.
Also they would've been considered far too short. Yes flapper dresses are high for the time period, but long in todays view.
@@maggiedean5691 exactly!
I’m glad the second one had more of a beading look instead of all fringe cause fringe wasn’t really a thing
Jazz is rockin that outfit oml, it's so great on her!
I want to see Jazz as Ursula from the little mermaid, with her body type and her confidence I can totally see her working it like a damn charm. Tight until the tentacles and I can see her shimmy with it lol
