Good videeo. I could relate to the examiner NOT reading my file. He said I was miopic (nearsighted), one of my Amry eye exams had my distance vision at 20/15. The same examiner failed to notice addition of prisms to my eyeglasses as treatment for the double vision I developed in the last 4 months of my 2 year tour. Hopefully the latest C&Ps work out.
@@DewayneKimble My 10% Tinitis turned into 50% today. Need to wait for opinion to see if for binocular double vision or myasthenia gravis (MG). Binocular double vision is the first and sometimes only symptom for MG. Now to work on the secondaries, like the sleep apnea tested and diagnosed by the VA a week ago. Have a blank "intent" on file. If you find someone with MG, I can be debriefed. I'm on facebook. MG is on the presumptive chronic disease list, but I proved my 2012 diagnosis with 1974 Army eye exams that didn't mention MG or double vision..
Great video Dewayne! Now for a question, I always hear you mention making you DBQ actionable and sufficient. What makes a DBQ actionable and sufficient? Thank you in advance for your response.
No disrespect but that's petty! It's your examiner if he or she can't fill out forms correctly how is that the veterans fault. I feel like lately the system got yall trained to look for imperfections in the paperwork rather than looking at the veterans overall claim and health. That's just my opinion tho and why I always tell people get your C file! so you can see what the examiner wrote down on the dbq, raters out here trying to fineness veterans.

I have a family member that got a diagnosis and nexus from a private dr. The doctor also completed a DBQ that checked all appropriate boxes and filled in each section. More specific questions the doctor responded, “See attached Report” referring to occupational and social impairment questions. Is this sufficient on its face by referring to the report? Thanks in advance.

I had a DBQ and the family staff nurse injured my JAW. Can I file a form 1151 for a DBQ nurse who did a Dental Exam and injured my JAW? The Remanded Appeal told the VA to send me to a dentist to do my TMJ exam, this nurse didn't even know about JAW terms.
If it meets the criteria for the 1151. Once question, may team and I are currently researching is if the vet wins their 1151 claim and they are service connected for that condition, will the VA withhold that percentage for that service connected condition. @@DewayneKimble Yes I did and he stated that the required questions were not answered although she wrote in the description what my symptoms were but didn't check the appropriate boxes so they lowballed me at 10% instead of what my symptoms qualified me for, which is 30%. I also wrote my symptoms in a questionnaire describing my symptoms and the DRO said that's just self reporting which is nothing 😐 😑.

This educational video was right on time for me.... thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

Good informational video Dewayne.
Thanks 👍
Excellent topic

Thank you, can you do a video on the 1151 claims for a faulty DBQ
Does TBI have to be done in person. I know a psych or neuro psych has to do the C&P exam

In the ptsd example you gave, would all treatment done by VA years down the road show on your c-file?
Your claims file is information on the VBA side of the house, if you are looking for VA medical records, that's housed by VHA unless you provided it to VBA.
