    great and memorable video as always! if i may ask, what's the name for the "kae" sound becoming voiced ("gae") when in a compound word ("higaeri")? i remember reading about it once, but i've forgotten sadly...

    • @Toppogi-kanji
      @Toppogi-kanji  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your comment!
      Maybe it's "濁音(dakuon)=(voiced sound)"?
      Or is it “連濁(rendaku)”?

    Serious question though: does stroke order matter? Why?

    • @Toppogi-kanji
      @Toppogi-kanji  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks!
      Personally, I think the stroke order is very important.
      This is because by following the stroke order, you will be able to write well-balanced and sharp characters.
      I'll talk about the importance of stroke order in another video some day!

    • @yamatanoorochi3149
      @yamatanoorochi3149 Месяц назад

      @Toppogi-kanji thank you, looking forward to it!

    • @Caduceus444
      @Caduceus444 3 дня назад

      I think it's important, it makes handwriting kanji easier and my characters look so much better when I follow the stroke order.
      I am a beginner though, but I think stroke order is kind of easy.
      You need to get the hang of it ONCE, and you'll be telling the exact stroke order of kanji you haven't even seen before.
      If you have trouble with it, try sticking to the general "From top to bottom, than from left to right" rule, it helps a lot in my opinion.
      Note: I am a bilingual dumb*ss and am not an expert, so don't belive me, all that is only what I experienced.
