I feel you. I've learned to make sacrifice. I'm debt free. 68 years old. Living in my car, realizing how fortunate I am. Not comparing myself with anyone. Once a home owner taking care of family. Stressed by dealing with toxic people. Now on my because I choose loneliness over misery. I've now traded my loneliness for solitude. Content and peace of mind I have gained . Now my integrity and freedom I hold dearly. No matter what anyone feels about it. Every morning is a new chance to change, if we want to. It feels the more I learn the less I know

My wonderful wise Dad used to say to me as I was growing up "Jan, Love is trust & trust is love & your name is everything" ❤ he was so right, as it is. I miss my Dad, Mum & Husband terribly & all other family members who have passed, will never forget them all ever. Glad we enjoyed each other's company immensely, there was always so much love.
I want to share with you this nice little saying, to me it's a great & so true. "Family are like ✨ you can't always see them, but they are always there" ❤ Wish I could claim ownership of that saying, but unfortunately can't 😄 Last week our eldest Son took me out & shouted a yummy lunch of sushi 😊 then after he bought me a lovely charm for a bangle he once gave me for a birthday present. This lovely saying was on the charm.
I began this morning just meditating and enjoying peace and quiet being in my back room this video is really wonderful to listen to every single day I am proud to be a stoic student I am the day that I stopped chasing women is the day that I started reinventing myself and learning more about who I am I enjoy various forms of art. I challenge each and every one of you to take time to learn about yourself in this busy and chaotic world learn to apply stoicism every single day I enjoy reading the Bible.

I am a PhD student, I achieved a lot of good things before I joined to the academy. Even now I am progressing in a very good manner. But I don't know why some times i feel I loss my confidence when I saw bigger achievements by others.
From this video I noticed my problem is, I am trying to control everything in my capacity, just now while I am typing this comment, I feel my confidence is building up since I found my weakness.
So thank you for the video, I learned that my focus should be limited to things of my control. Bingo...
Finally, we should trust on God that things out of our limit is controlled by him.

Its impossible to be confident when you continuosly doubt yourself which, can lead you down a path of unshakable, painful insecurity.
