It was really pretty area and we loved it. After walking thru the town and the train besides museums smugglers cove really made Skagway stand out! enjoy your trip!

I was fortunate to be able to cruise to Alaska. We stopped in this port. The train ride is definitely a thing to do. I agree the scenery was stunning. The glacier fed river breath taking. I loved the architect of the buildings amazing. They had women hanging out the window from the brothel. They actually talked to you and whistle to the men.

We booked thru the cruise line but here is a direct link to the trains website! it’s White Pass Scenic Railway and was around $150 per person smugglers cove was just on our own hiking around skagway!

september 8th 2023 :) perfect weather … only rained for about 4 hrs the whole trip!
