The moving grids were what the offset in the fourth dimension represented. Then I realized that things changing through time IS a fourth dimension, so while not a novel thought per se, it was certainly an enhancement of my understanding or intuition. Either that or I stayed up too late :)

It is, I came here from a topic made by the author of the clip on Zdoom forums :) Note that it can be done with moving cameras, slopes, scroll textures, etc. The use of this possibilities in the making of the clip, however, was genius, IMO. And indeed demanded a LOT of work to be done. A true art work, IMO. :)
I was bored by the first 30 seconds, but after that it was quite remarkable to watch. Would love to see it in color, like purple on white or on black - - or maybe magenta or bright green, as in Day-glo colors. Very nice work, show us some more!

Got me interested c: I'm thinking of trying to make something of the kind on Unity as one of my first projects, if I can learn enough of that soon enough, and so far I'm just getting around creating & rigging models in Blender, but have yet to make textures for and animate them as well as import them into Unity for testing out.
Captivating, awesome visual effects... loved the way, when I let my eyes lose focus, how it pulled me along on a journey. The shrooms that I am microdosing, haven't gotten to any visualization yet and this just hits all the right brainwaves!
I'd kinda like it for a few years, so many new random geometric patterns to explore. Seems like one of those stories where someone takes DMT and sees stuff like this for what feels like months to them.
