I don't go through this stuff. Have you ever paid off debt to be financially free. I did and I don't get this mail. If I did I know I don't own anything to them and toss it out.
im getting the same mail. it looks like a final notice or an official government letter, and i open it to find that its just junk mail like the rest. There should be a law against this practice!

I love it when it says final notice. I don't want any more. The only problem is they keep sending more lol. I have been getting threats that my email account will be cancelled that evening if I don't respond immediately. This has been going on for over a year now. 😂
Should be able to sue them for false advertising when they send a "Final Notice" one and then send one after that. They were lying about it being the final one.
I got one that said in the outside that my overdue payments could be resolved if I contacted them. I HAVE NO OVERDUE PAYMENTS and haven’t for decades. When I did it was accidental and once in a decade. I also paid everything off that same week. All zero balances. So this is annoying. Like my mailman thinks I give him $200 tip at Christmas even though I have overdue balances. But he knows better, too. He’s seen it all. All the slime that does this kind of crap.
MY BLIND SON GOT A CALL, SAYING HIS CAR WARRANTY WAS EXPIRING. I TOOK THE PHONE FROM HIM, ASKING THEM HOW CAN YOU BE SO CRUEL TO A BLIND 14-YEAR-OLD TEENAGER?
My boyfriend is blind, has been his entire life. Never drove a car but kept getting calls because he needs to insure his car. Yup, what a slap in the face. He finally decided to play with them. Told the sure he will buy it. When they asked about the make and model, my BF gave them a bunch of bullcrap about his "bicycle" (something else he doesn't use) they finally caught on and yelled at him telling him HES the a-hole. I just can't with these ignorant spammers anymore.
Aquantance of mine, purchased a house few years back, cash deal. Shortly after closing of the purchase deal, she received a letter from some company in CA stating that if she wanted a deed to the new house she needed to send them $90 and an application with her signature to get it. She didn't do it. Threw that paper away. She was given Warranty Deed to her house at the closing.. Few months later, she learned from her County office that it was a scam warning buyers to beware
It's actually "decreasing value" life insurance because the policy only pays off the remaining value of the loan, and that number goes down with each payment you make.
It should be a legal requirement to indicate any communication attempting to sell stuff indicate in a clear manner that: - this is a sales attempt - a general idea of what is being sold
After buying a house in Florida, I received several letters just like this. It's a crime that these companies are allowed to manipulate and misrepresent themselves in order to trick people into buying their bs.
Never call the number on any kind of notice you get in the mail. Always call the institution using the number listed in the original documentation from said institution.
I retired in 2003 at 50 and I paid off my mortgage the same year. I then decided to have a enclosed heated swimming pool installed in 2016 with a low interest 30 year mortgage. Knowing that I'm not likely to be around in 30 years, but I can enjoy my pool. Everything is done electronically. My retirements & my payments. If I get something in the mail, I open it, read it and then recycle the paperwork in the trash can. Problem solved.
I get several of these every time I get a new mortgage. They try to make it look like the offers are coming from the lender. The good news is the USPS gets some postage $ from them.
I think WE are ALL sick and tired of our info being handed out like candy on Halloween. Junk mail/junk texts and phone calls from someone 3000 miles away wanting to buy my house that's not for sale. Not to mention the other junk mail with my name on it.
Despite what that letters say with Final Notice, wait a week after the date posted in there and you will get another one with the same Final Notice.... I felt like calling them and asking how many final notices are they going to be sending
Please call them “attorneys general.” Attorneys is plural; general describes the type of attorneys they are. Like “runs batted in” instead of “run batted ins.”
Around 2007 my Alzheimer's mom received newspaper bill, which she did not subscribe to......on the bottom in fine print it says "this is not a bill" I went there raising hell, they claimed they were not targeting old people just people that don't receive the paper......I called them liar to their face because I didn't receive a NOT A BILL To best of my knowledge they ended that tactic, 2010 they went out of business.........the reason they went out of business is because a town newspaper 30 miles away covered what happens here better than our town paper.
BBB is like The United Nations...all bark no bite. Probably better to try U.S. Consumer Financial Protection agency or whatever the financial watchdog agency is called.
Then you don't know what is real or fake and this is something that happens at the worst possible time. Such a nightmare to cause fear and confusion. All because they call the County and get the financial institutions and the home owners information on a contract between just those two parties. Well thats what wrong with the system. Next time just sign docs on tic tok or something. Seriously.
I used to work for Regions Financial Corp./Bank🙄😵💫🫨🤕. Sigh, I do notice two tale-tell signs in the phony advertisement shown by reporter: (1) Take a moment to compare a questionable notice to your official bank statement or monthly loan payment notice/statement. (2) Pay attention to the details that stand out when comparing a questionable document to your official bank statements/mortgage notices.
Maybe we should do away with data collection and brokering, that would end a lot of scams rather quickly.

Mortgage protection insurance it’s just life insurance. I know because I used to sell it and I called it that as well.
It's actually "decreasing value" life insurance because the policy only pays off the remaining value of the loan, and that number goes down with each payment you make.
This should be criminal and the victim should get $1000 per incident

They have been sending out this garbage for years in Florida, throw it away & or call your lender directly.
