The one who is singing and playing the guitar is Noel Gallagher, he’s the lead guitarist of the band. His younger brother Liam who is playing the tambourine is actually the lead singer of the band. Noel will sometimes sing some of their songs. Liam sang Wonderwall.

Noel and Liam were always fighting while in the band, until Noel left in 2008 I believe.

The lyrics to this song are amazing when you break up or make a bad choice and end a relationship don’t look back in anger at the situation, take it as a life lesson. We always need a reminder from the people around us
You should listen to Champagne supernova. Its sang by Liam, who is the lead singer. His voice was untouchable. Noel (liams brother and the main songwriter) is brilliant too on this one though.
FYI the lyrics 'gonna start a revolution from my bed' are taken from a John Lennon quote when he and Yoko took to a bed publicly for reasons I can't remember.

Legend has it Noel (the songwriter) gave Liam the choice of singing this or Wonderwall. Definitely the right choice made. Liam's gravelly tone was perfect for the latter and Noel's perfect for this as you say.

my favourite Oasis song are probably Cast No Shadow and Who Put The Weight Of The World On My Shoulder? their most underrated ones, but been stuck with me during my roughest moments to this day, along with Don’t Look Back In Anger. great reaction! Not in America for some reason. Wonderwall was huge (played virtually back to back on MTV at the time lol) and Champagne Supernova got a lot of airplay but nothing else really. How they weren't huge in America is a mystery for the ages. It can only be because people didn't hear their songs.
