One of the pillars of AI, apart from chips and energy, is a huge amount of data that was not mentioned at all. Without data GenAI is like a spaceship without fuel. They are trained on these data and that's why they kind of "know everything". Because giant companies possess almost all data keeping them on their data centres, they are very successful. So, if you want to beat AI simply cut it from data consumption. We discourage developers who use Copilot (AI for writing programs) when writing programs: first of all this Copilot generates a s..t, wrong things, second developers do not understand what they write. So, we don't use AI, it is simply waste of time and so money.

People don't understand how AI and robots are going to change the world, and it will happen relatively quickly! Many claim that technology and progress have always led to more jobs and more opportunities. That has been true, so far. But not anymore. Why? Well, in the past, technological advancements meant that even if fewer people were needed for production, companies would expand and be able to hire those who were temporarily unemployed. Instead of having one factory with, for example, 100 workers, you would now have five factories with 50 employees each. So, the total number of workers could still grow, and companies and their owners could expand and become wealthier. But now it's different. AI and robots are going to replace the companies' biggest expense -human workers! Companies may expand again in many cases, but this time it will happen without human labor! (or at least that much).
    And that changes everything.

All these enthusiasts of new technology forget something fundamental. The increasing use of AI and robots will create huge armies of unemployed people at a time when austerity is the only economic policy that governments and the market can offer to people in all countries. In this sense, we are not here on the threshold of a bright future in which people will be able to reposition their lives, but probably a "fall of Rome scenario". At a certain point in history, the Roman rulers had the brilliant idea that it was possible to stop fighting all the barbarians and that it would be more beneficial to allow some barbarian peoples to live within the empire by providing auxiliary troops that would be equipped and paid by Rome. This novelty worked very well for a while until the barbarians realized that they had enough strength to easily destroy the Roman empire and pillage its capital. The new barbarians are already being created by mass unemployment and the lack of interest or capacity of states to deal with the social waste that AI technology and robots will create very quickly. And they are radicalized by algorithms that extract more profit by maximizing the frenzied sharing of hate and Fake News in bubbles that explode with violence in the streets. Will our justice systems and police forces be able to withstand the political and social pressure that will accumulate and devastate countries in the next decade within countries? I think not, but I admit that I could be wrong.

You don’t get it. AI’s impact will be bigger and faster than the industrial revolution. This is the wrong conversation. The right conversations are about safety, equity in power, and post-labor and utopian economics.

AI is totally different from computers.
Computers were made with the Intention of Assisting Man & making his work easier.
AI was specifically created to Replace Man & not to assist Him.
The Risk of AI is more detrimental than it's benefits.

Technology may have advanced enough to release civilization from the confines of the second law of thermodynamics.
These confines were imposed during Victorian England's scientific and religious cultural fascination with steam engines.
The second law is behind modern refgeration needing electrical energy to compress the refrigerent to force it to release as waste the heat that it has removed from the refrigerator's service interior in the cooling part of the refrigerent's circulation. There is also discarded heat from mechanical friction and electrical resistance.
Refrigeration by the principle that energy is conserved should produce electricity instead of consuming it.
It makes more sense that refrigerators should yield electricity because energy is widely known to change form with no ultimate path of energy gain or loss being found. Therefore any form of fully recyclable energy can be cycled endlessly in any quantity.
In an extreme case senario, full heat recycling, all electric, very isolated underground, undersea, or space communities would be highly survivable with self sufficient EMP resistant LED light banks, automated vertical farms, thaw resistant frozen food storehouses, factories, dwellings, and self contained elevators and horizontal transports.
In a flourishing civillization senario, small self sufficient electric or cooling devices of many kinds and styles like lamps, smartphones, hotplates, water heaters, cooler chests, fans, radios, TVs, cameras, security devices, robot test equipment, scales, transaction terminals, wall clocks, open or ciosed for business luminus signs, power hand tools, ditch diggers, pumps, and personal transports, would be available for immediate use incrementally anywhere as people see fit.
Somé equipment groups could be consolidated on local networks.
If a high majority thinks our civilization should geoengineer gigatons or
teratons of carbon dioxide out of our environment, instalations using devices that convert ambient heat into electricity can hypothetically be scaled up do it with a choice of comsequences including many beneficial ones.
Energy sensible refrigerators that absorb heat and yield electricity would complement computers as computing consumes electricity and yields heat. Computing would be free. Chips could have energy recycling built in.
A simple rectifier crystal can, iust short of a replicatable long term demonstration of a powerful prototype, almost certainly filter the random thermal motioren of electrons or discrete positiive charged voids called holes so the electric current flowing in one direction predominates. At low system voltage a filtrate of one polarity predominates only a little but there is always usable electrical power derived from the source, which is Johnson Nyquest thermal electrical noise. This net electrical filtrate can be aggregated in a group of separate diodes in consistent alignment parallel creating widely scalable electrical power. The maximum energy is converted from ambient heat to productive electricity when the electrical load is matched to the array impeadence.
Matched impeadence output (watts) is k, one point three eight x 10^ minus 23, Boltzman's constant, times T (temperature Kelvin) times bandwidth (0 Hz to a natural limit ~2 THz @ 290 K) times rectification halving and nanowatt power level rectification efficiency times the number of diodes in the array.
For reference, there are a billion cells of 1000 square nanometer area each per square millimeter, 100 billion per square centimeter.
Order is imposed on the random thermal motion of electrons by the structual orderlyness of a diode array made of diodes made within a slab:
    ______________________ - Out
    🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻
    ______________________ + Out
All the P type semiconductor anodes abut a metal conductive plane deposited on the top face of the slab with nonrectifying joins; all the N type semiconductor cathodes abut the bottom face. As the polarity filtered electrical energy is exported, the amount of thermal energy in the group of diodes decreases. This group cooling will draw heat in from the surrounding ambient heat at a rate depending on the filtering rate and thermal resistance between the group and ambient gas, liquid, or solid warmer than absolute zero. There is a lot of ambient heat on our planet, more in equatorial dry desert summer days and less in polar desert winter nights.
Focusing on explaining the electronic behavior of one composition of simple diode, a near flawless crystal of silicon is modified by implanting a small amount of phosphorus (N type)on one side from a ohmic contact end to a junction where the additive is suddenly and completely changed to boron (P type) with minimal disturbance of the crystal lattice. The crystal then continues to another ohmic contact.
A region of high electrical resistance forms at the junction in this type of diode when the phosphorous near the ĵunction donates electrons that are free to move elsewhere while leaving phosphorus ions held in the crystal while the boron ions donate holes which are similalarly free to move. The two types of mobile charges mutually clear each other away near the junction leaving little electrical conductivity. An equlibrium width of this region is settled between the phosphorus, boron, electrons, and holes. Thermal noise is beyond steady state equlibrium. Thermal noise transients, where mobile electrons move from the phosphorus added side to the boron added side ride transient extra conductivity so the forward moving electrons are preferentally filtered into the external circuit. Mobile electrons are units of electric current. They lose their thermal energy of motion and gain electromotive force, another name for voltage, as they transition between the junction and the array electrical tap. Inside the diode, heat is absorbed: outside the diode, to exactly the same extent, an attached electrical circuit is energized.
Understanding diodes is one way to become convinced that Johnson Nyquest thermal electrical noise can be rectified and aggregated. Self assembling development teams may find many ways to accomplish this wide mission. Taxonomically there should be many ways ways to convert heat directly into electricity.
A practical device may use an array of Au needles in a SiO2 matrix abutting N type GaAs. These were made in the 1970s when registration technology was poor so it was easier to fabricate arrays and select one diode than just make one diode.
There are other plausible breeches of the second law of thermodynamics. Hopefully a lot of people will join in expanding the breech. Please share the successes or setbacks of your efforts.
These devices would probably become segmented commodities sold with minimal margin over supply cost. They would be manufactured by advanced automation that does not need financial incentive. Applicable best practices would be adopted. Business details would be open public knowledge. Associated people should move as negotiated and freely and honestly talk. Commerce would be a planetary scale unified conglomerate of diverse local cooperatives. There is no need of wealth extracting top commanders. We do not need often token philanthropy from the top if the wide majority of people can afford to be generous.

Because it can bring about the end of capitalism which is a good thing. Greatly improves upon personal security. It's allow us to transition to just a resource base economy which is also a good thing. Knowing all that, there will be no such thing as rich people which is also a good thing. Even our world leaders can be replaced with AI because it's better then they are at their profession which is also a good thing. This also includes the AI programmers themselves because the AI can design and improve upon itself which can be a dangerous if not vetted. From just those simple points, it's safe to assume that AI has more potential to do good rather than be used as a means to harm. This is why our world leaders fear artificial intelligence all due to the fact that they can be replaced by a machine that shows no biases towards anyone or thing. Seems like the end goal is to simply have access to just a personal super intelligence whose end goal is that of your own which could be viewed as steps towards trans humanism which is also a good thing because it doesn't make you any less of a human being who values human life.

Why are more of the largest US companies worried about AI?
    Copilot
Certainly! More than half of the top 500 companies in the United States now view artificial intelligence (AI) as a potential risk. This concern has increased fivefold in just two years1. Here are some reasons behind their worries:
Competition: AI can disrupt industries by automating tasks, leading to increased competition. Companies fear losing their competitive edge.
Ethical Ambiguities: As AI systems become more powerful, ethical questions arise. Bias, privacy, and fairness are critical concerns.
Human Rights and Employment: AI’s impact on human rights and employment worries companies. Job displacement and potential inequalities are on their radar.
Safety and Security: Ensuring AI systems are safe and secure is challenging. Companies fear unintended consequences or vulnerabilities.
Industry Concentration: AI could lead to market concentration, favoring a few dominant players.
Remember, these concerns reflect the evolving landscape of AI adoption and its implications

You’d be a fool to believe AI would not be used in the same way and for the same goals as all innovations are used in the capitalist epoch.
Workers might be confusing the heavy lifting AI machinery can do with making work lighter and less boring and monotonous but I would tend to doubt the lightness of work AI will bring to millions of jobs will be any less gratifying for the worker, if anything work will be more intensified, pushing work way into a worker’s free time, and/or compounded by the technology. Right when you making out with a new girlfriend your A I boss sends a message to you at 1 AM. You’ll have a government that will regulate your personal time to not interfere with AI functions because as it is, Britain or the US do not have governments that will regulate AI to stay within the legal working day. People in the workforce will still be working beyond what on average is necessary for their reproduction.

If social elites and capable individuals view AI as an advanced assistant and gradually train it to become a user-friendly tool across all domains-both personal and professional-it can greatly enhance their ability to manage daily tasks and complex challenges. By fostering a collaborative relationship with AI-whose impact on modern life is comparable to that of cars-people can delegate routine tasks, allowing them to focus on more critical and creative aspects of their lives.
This gradual integration of AI into various facets of human life parallels how humans confront the anxiety of the unknown. Just as belief in "God's blessing" has historically provided individuals with reassurance and the strength to face challenges, the dependable support of AI can alleviate stress, enabling people to focus on solving the problems at hand. In both cases, the presence of a trusted ally-whether divine or technological-redirects attention from fear and uncertainty to productive problem-solving, ultimately leading to more effective outcomes.
However, the massive energy and freshwater consumption required for AI chip production, along with the resulting environmental pollution and degradation, are critical issues that society must carefully consider before advancing AI development on a global scale.
