    Jane H commenting ….. Elvis thought he would be forgotten when he was gone. I wish he could see how 47 years after his passing, he is still remembered & loved by his fans from decades ago, & I am sure he would be amazed that a new generation are now listening to him. It is just so Awesome. It was great to see your Reaction. I came to your channel to see Elvis & hope to see more.

      Ronnie is a star in his own right. One of the reasons Elvis picked Ronnie is because he added those little accents to his movements.

    He loved having fun, he never took himself that seriously, saw him twice in concert and he's one of a kind. He was sweating at the end of every song, he put everything he had in every performance. He loved his fans, and was a generous humanitarian. See "Elvis Presley King of Kindness" or "Elvis Presley A Generous Heart". People want to trash him, but he was a good man. He sang everything from gospel to opera. I hope you'll do something from his 68 comeback like" Trying to Get to You' or the opening to the special called "Trouble/Guitar Man," thanks you do good reactions be blessed.

    Elvis and his drummer would basically battle to see who could keep up. Ronnie Tutt, the drummer, said it was like drumming for a stripper (in a good way) when Elvis was on stage. 😂

    That was a really fun reaction. And I just love the way he interacts with the audience and he interacts with his own band and backing vocalists and he's just having a ball you can tell. And he's not only doing all the things you were saying but when he goes into those low crouches like that, that alone takes a lot of core strength and just strength and flexibility in general, and it's burning precious calories at a high rate even just that one part of it, much less the singing knowing that it's surrounded by lots of really intense full body movement.
    And yeah he always basically not only arranged the material, and he did all of his several layers of performance stuff, but he was often interacting with and in a way conducting the band and backing vocalists with his body and his hand gestures. You see it over and over in his live performances.

    • @carolhayar3037
      @carolhayar3037 8 месяцев назад +2

      Just a little mention here that If I Can Dream was due to the assassinations of both King & Robert Kennedy -- Elvis & producer-director Steve Binder were in the studio when they heard noise coming from the TV in the next room of the news about Kennedy's assassination. Binder & Elvis sat up for hrs.discussing assassinations, Vietnam, a world in turmoil w-Elvis expressing his thoughts & feelings which caused Binder to ask Walter Earl Brown to compose a song based on those discussions & what Elvis had expressed, a song reminiscent of King's speech for peace & harmony, the red tie for the blood shed in Vietnam -- so it encompassed more than just King's assassination. Thx.

    You noticed his drummer being right with Elvis. Ronnie Tutt said in an interview once that the reason he got the job was that he always watched Elvis. Even though there was a music director, Elvis would que his musicians himself. Elvis and Ronnie played off of each other.

    Great music and great performers have no expiration date. Also, he hand picks his band. He auditions them by telling them "watch me" . That is the way Elvis conducts his orchestra. His drummer, Ronnie Tutt, excelled at this.

    HISTORY of this SONG: Written by Mark James in '68 it is based on one night when James was fooling around on his guitar & came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James' wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of."

    This man sang with so much Passion.. that was truly his thing.. he felt every song.. he didn't write them but he felt them.. and the best entertainer probably of the 20th century... only one close would be Michael.. in my opinion.. and I'm more MJ's era.. trust me.. my initials are MJ and I''ve been stopped in an airport.. are you Michael Jackson.. no.. I'm Michelle Jackson.. and I actually said to them... I'm darker than Michael now. and I'm white but I had a great spray tan going on... lmao.

    Elvis was just 35 yo here in 1970 when this was recorded. no one have ever come close what Elvis meant to music. There will be no other like Elvis!! Not only he was so unik in terms of singing and music, but he also was so a giving person, he gave away some 200 or more cadillacs, buying house to his satff or just somebody else, he paid hospital bills for those that had less....he was unique, it will never be a person like him....ever!

    Another song that's similar is "Polk Salad Annie".
    You react to ELVIS you'll pull in more fans to watch your Channel.
    There are literally hundreds of choices from his 750+ catalogue of recordings.
    Could you please increase the volume levels of your music reactions?
    Without headphones all I have is the phone's speaker, and I've noticed that reactors who rely on headphones have the volumes turned down significantly.
