I never really got into Neil Young's personal life to be honest with you I could care less. But I always got into his music I've been listening to Neil Young since the first album I bought after the Gold Rush when I was 15. Even today the stuff that he's doing with Willie Nelson's son. It's so cool always like Neil Young's music I liked his lyrics and his passion. I never get tired of it and never gets old on me it kind of sticks Like Glue. All I know is Neil Young it's been a part of my life for about 50 years and that's a long time of rock and roll and he still in it and I don't know anybody who can play a guitar like Neil Young he's got his own style and his own class long may he run I wish him nothing but happiness in his life cuz it sounds like he's had a pretty rough road when it comes to women. That's just the way it is for some people. I just wish him a happy life. And keep on rockin Neil cuz I know you're going to do it till you drop.

It's starting to catch on Ringo Starr got on it and some other artist Willie Nelson Sons on it and it's really cool it's videos of musicians from all around the world they're all performing one song and they bring it together and it's beautiful. It's so cool the world is so f up right now. It's kind of nice to see something positive going on in the world like it was when we were growing up. So take care man check it out I think you'll enjoy it peace love and long may you run. What I'm trying to say is they take one song they're recording it but inside a studio. There's different people and they are in different countries playing instruments and singing and they bring it all together into one video. It's about peace and love and Community we all live in a world as one it's so cool I said anybody check it out. I think they have 1.5 million subscribers.
I want to feel for him but leaving his wife for Daryl is wrong. Edit: I don't think Neil's a monster. I was actually broken up thinking this a video to say he died. Neil's an amazing person but couldn't handle what Peggy was going through. I guess they were just not meant to be. Plus it would've been worse to be in love with another woman and stay in a loveless marriage.
Why is it wrong? Sure it must have been hurtful for Pegi (and I feel sorry she had to endure it, especially so publicly) but if you're not in love with someone anymore then ending it is surely the best solution
Olivia When you put like that, I guess its fair. I can relate. I once had a wonderful girlfriend I wanted to marry but eventually I stopped knowing her and the spark was lost so I ended it. Its actually even hard for me to date other women as Im still in love with another ex. So yeah I understand what he was going through
@@wardcochran1702 As a long time dedicated Neil fan, I was devastated by the divorce, but what Olivia says is true. Pegi was an amazing woman, but sadly, she had issues that she could not overcome despite treatment. Neil hung in there a long time, but had enough. Says a lot about the amazing guy he is that he lets the public see him as the bad guy rather than air her issues in public.
Jackie Jacobs Im a Neil fan myself. As I said in my second comment, I've been where he's been and understand what its like having to leave the one you truly love. I just thought the video could've refraised it different.
Neil has had a very successful life, making a ton of money doing what he likes. We should all be so fortunate. I'm a big Neil fan but come on, don't tell me how tragic his life is. We all have to deal with these things and most of us have jobs that we hate. It's called life, more power to him for having the will to pursue his dreams and not let the naysayers get him down.

Often we forget when we look at these rock stars thinking they have a glamorous life with all their money. And then we find out about their children with disabilities and the other aspects of their life that are harsh it makes me appreciate my life I don’t need to be a rockstar to be happy
I'm surprised I made it to the end, cause I was trying to hear what you were saying and talking about. I'm sorry but I'm going to have to agree with everyone here on your choice of the music. I get it, your video, your thing, but if it were me, I'd be putting some of the man's music behind it, instead of that crud. Still gave the video a like though.

Yeah I thought so too at the time..I guess relationships break down for various reasons all the time but back then I thought it was really cruel. I dunno the truth of it
Finally found his soulmate...cough cough
Neil doesn’t give a shit about your opinion. I’m almost sure he still cared for Pegi. I bet you he was very sad by her death.
stflat Until the next one comes along. Absolutely no respect for him.
Jim Plper well said Jim I mirror your story, never judge what I read and just dig the music and loved the connections you get through the albums over the yrs, along with Joni, CSN & more, so much of interest from our life cycle, keep on rocking On.
Hey man. There's a lot of good music out there we're still Rock and Rollin even though we're old. I think you would like this so check it out it's on RUclips playing for change.
Nice story in between the many, many, many, many adverts!
The heart wants what the heart wants.
I saw him with Bob Dylan Nowlan park 14th July great show
Why the disturbing background music???!!!!
keep on rockin' in the free world...
Interesting but contained Nothing I didn’t already know about the Onery Old Buzzard.
Misleading Subject line as well, Interesting video though for the Casual Neil Fan I would say. 😊
I AGREE BUT THIS NOTHING MORE THAN A Kneel and Bob, Kneel and Bob, Kneel and Bob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Neil Young, undereducated millioniare - climate change expert.
Got it.
Overpriced Lionel Train Expert too. (Switched to MTH Because of Neil)
The black and white squares on his clothes, suggests somebody told him to say that.
I know he knows better.
“I’m a little bit country, I’m a little bit rock and roll,” this narrator and South Park.
Often we forget when we look at these rock stars thinking they have a glamorous life with all their money. And then we find out about their children with disabilities and the other aspects of their life that are harsh it makes me appreciate my life I don’t need to be a rockstar to be happy
Love Neil, you can tell he has been through alot.
Had no idea ... Can't even imagine...
Guys a legend
Neil Young is the definition of street cred.
Except for when he plays with CSNY. CSN are corny as hell.
Love you neil
Yeah, he's been through all that and is still rockin' it. I would hardly call his life "tragic." More YT hype.....
Thank you for this. Neil Young is hardly one to be taken for granted. I think he's one of the real courageous ones. He likely wouldn't like this - still a humble guy
god bless neil young ... a soul trouper baby!!!
“Visual field disturbances”. Neil Young
I been having these for 35 years. I think it’s a blood sugar thing.
Give up on honey, never happened since i did.
Plenty of water too.
bob christopher /. Well of course it’s the diabetes! As a long-term type one diabetic the eyes are profoundly affected. He must be under the care of a retinal specialist? Maybe he doesn’t go like he didn’t handle his aneurysm. Neill plays a big part in manufacturing his own bad karma. Like the way he was flighty with his buddies Crosby Stills and Nash. He left them high and dry and many crucial concerts. He was there then he wasn’t there which prompted the eventual term by all the fans Crosby, Stills, Nash and sometimes Young.
Homegrown is alright with me. Homegrown is the way it should be. Homegrown is a good thing. Clamp that bell, or let it Ring!
FFS the background noise distracting as hell. Also narration as if reading out loud to oneself, no pause or seperation of sentences.
He's had a lot of life threatening illnesses as happens but we survive it all hopefully, and he's done it all without complaining or writing about it.
No mention of Buffalo Springfield or CSNY or that his father was quite a well known sports reporter. Just a few tidbits left out
A Cor CSNY sounds like an New York university.
@@heli-crewhgs5285 And ELO sounds hello in French, ELP like help in cockney. Can't come up with one for BTO
Tragic my arse.. He's just lived a life.
