      Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity
      There is a lot of power in "Yet" you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal

    for number 38- you got the correct answer but the explanation was incorrect. you stated it's radius cubed, but it's really radius squared. you then said it was 4*4*4, which is 64. (3.14*64*8)/3= 535.89.

    I got lost at number 49. Why were brackets inside the the x bracket introduced?I would have said -2--1=1. Please help me understand where I am wrong.

    • @BlossomWithJessica
      @BlossomWithJessica  Год назад +2

      The brackets inside the x are to just show the two negative signs. It is the same as writing 2--1. when you substract a negative number it changes to a positive. so 2--1=2+1 which gives us 3.

    I’m a bit confused on number 38. Four cubed is 64 & 64x8=512, how did you get the 128?? My final answer for this question was 536.2 cubic units. Can someone please point out where I may have gone wrong in my calculations??

    • @BlossomWithJessica
      @BlossomWithJessica  Год назад +1

      it is r squared not cubed. (I accidentally wrote cubed while calculating it out). Here is in depth how to solve:
      The formula is V = 1/3 * π * r² * h.
      calculation:
      V = 1/3 * π * (4)² * 8
      = 1/3 * π * 16 * 8
      = 1/3 * π * 128
      = 128/3 * π
      V ≈ 42.67 * π
      = 134.0412865536 cubic units (rounded to 10 decimal places)
      So, the volume of the cone with a radius of 4 and a height of 8 is approximately 134.04 cubic units.

      You will only be tested on high school level content on the ATI TEAS. This includes simple things like "adding and subtracting" and then more complicated problems like "algebra" or "geometry". If you feel its too easy that is great! I was able to score 100% on the math section, it is very do-able if you understand the math topics.
