    Obviously TEAS 7 exam has been a pain in my ass, but that won't bother me anylonger i have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr James God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me

    Passing the ATI teas test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mrs Amalie.

    Thank you so much this is extremely helpful, I do want to note that the the quads attach to the tibial tuberosity and pass over the patella and creates stabilization for the patella along with the trochlear groove that it articulates with…. Sorry PTA going back for nursing they are not a true attachment point…

    I thought #2 was proximal... it makes more sense since the metacarpals are distal to the ulna.

      its superior because its closer to the midline of the body. the ulna is closer to our midline than the metacarpals. At least thats how i took it. Itd be proximal too i believe. so youre right too

      Proximal and distal are often used in relation to limbs. So yes, I totally agree. I don’t know why superior would be the answer either considering the ulna bone and the metacarpals are part of the upper limbs.

    Ulna is proximal to the metacarpals. Proximal means closer to the point of attachment. This is referring to the ulna being closer to the point of attachment of the humerus. Distal is farther from the attachment. Superior is above but refers to the trunk of the body and not the arms or legs. The ulna is a bone is one of the bones in the arm.

      the correct answer is proximal. for limbs like the arms and legs we use proximal and distal instead of superior and inferior

    For question 9, I thought vitamin k is absorbed in the small intestine but the answer is large intestine. Can some elaborate please?

      Yeah I think the answer is small intestine not large intestine. The large intestine absorbs water and electrolytes.

    I learned in anatomy and physiology that we use proximal and distal only for the limbs. So why are we saying superior instead of proximal since we only use superior and inferior for the trunk area. example your head is superior to your navel. Your elbow is proximal to your hand. Can someone please explain thanks. Im referring to question 2.

      @@J_Y_00 that’s what I had thought too. Most of absorption occurs in the small intestine. In the large intestine water and sodium is absorbed. However I looked up teas question regarding vitamin k absorption the answers are large intestine. 🤷‍♂️

      That's true. However, the large intestine also has a role in absorbing vitamins like vitamin K, vitamin B, and biotin. They're produced by bacteria. And you tend to get more of those vitamins absorbed in the large intestine.

    Hi guys! I am reaching out on behalf of my husband. We are beyond discouraged. He took the CNA for the 3rd time yesterday and failed, again . He has used mark k., Archer, and Kaplan. We are at our end and need all of the help we can get. Please give us all the advice as we absolutely need to pass the next one to not have to repay our scholarship through the VA.       Some very good advice in here. This one costs a bit : get a good tutor. Tell him to ask some trustworthy instructors if they know someone who is a good tutor. Hire one WHO HAS REFERENCES ( I put that in caps because not everyone smart person is able to teach someone) .
      Another suggestion is for him to study with a friend or someone who is also taking CNA. Get them synced so they are doing similar blocks of questions. Then they can review the answers that are difficult that they got wrong. Having other people means people who might understand key concepts that you do not.

    I'm not preparing for an exam, but I thoroughly enjoy your tests - Thanks - However, Lysosomes are organelles, not cells; The knee is not called patella, but the knee "cap" is; Myelin is not protective but rather insulating; I don't know where you found the ulnar superior to the carpal bones. A human facing us, with hands open, has the ulnar below the carpal bones. Sorry to be a nuisance
