if u want easy gold just goto the 1st town in the game go to one of the shops that sells carrots, and make sure u character is emptied out so u can buy alot of them, after u do so, buy all the carrots you can sleep at the in for 3 days and u should have moldy carrots that sells for twice as much as u bought them :) happy GOLD farming for those who doesn't know this yet.
you pawn will spawn with the preset equipment, because you'll need to choose if you want them to be a strider, fighter, or mage, but the equipment you had on them before will be in storage, so unless your pawn was one of the advanced vocations (2h warrior, long bowman, etc.) you can grab the equipment from the inn in the starting area and give it to them right after they spawn in. otherwise, you'll need to get to grandsoren to change their vocation and THEN give them their weapons.
Speaking of shopping, I don't know what my pawn hit but right in front of the door is an object that can be destroyed and 2 gold rings can be collected and sold for some decent coin.

magic shield, u get it from killing the red dragon with a mystic knight while having a shield equipted and the cape can be bought from a mine after clearing all the enemies out of it.

If you want a lot of gold just get the augment suasion and sell all the wakestones you get. If you want to do the quest still save up to 20 then sell all and you will still be able to complete the quest. Each wakestones with suasion is 34k+
right now I have 4.5mil half way through the game not ng+ yet just by doing the followings bellow not to mention u can also do this with your pawns buy them carrots :D
Open the map on the everfall and you will be able to change floor to see the ledges on which chamber is on. This will help you know exactly which side you have to go to be able to catch the ledge that leads to the chamber you are looking for
no you can't, you need all that stuff to upgrade your weapons, the only way to get money is the carrot version 1.01 thingy in cassardis, without it, I would have to run around very heavy at all time.

So how r u liking dragons dogma?? I love it!!! IGN only gave it a 7.5 but id give it a 9 just because the combat is so great. Aside from that there is nothing like going out into the wild at night without a lantern is fun and scary and is the only game i think that has the biggest difference from night and day not counting the stores that dont close at night but i think thats a good thing lol
i suggest you to learn the ability to sell item at higher price. i don't remember which class unlock it sorry, i think sorcerer but i'm not sure. however i have 2,5 mil without cheating with carrots or something else! asap i'll go to the second merchant and buy some good staff! :D

Never seen a shop that sells such garbage :p get dark arisen, i have a one-hand sword named devilsbane whit a strength of 1500 and its silver dragon forged if i am able to dragon forge it to gold dragon forged it does 1800 damage! Imagine what damage a two-hand sword can do in dark arisen and btw on bitterblack isle you have a merchant that sells THE best items, ofcourse they are verry pricelly by example the best mace cost 23000000 gold lol
You're gonna hvae a hell of a time getting through the game DO NOT RUSH, you will be really weak if you do and show up to the end game boss with just average spells

theres a wyrm in there which respawns every 3 days, take everything he drops and sell it, especially wakestones

yes. there's one other on the first level of everfall (one with the exit) that sells petty much just curatives and tools
You can also sell the weapons you get from the "final" boss since these weapons are much better

I accidentally made the innkeeper my love interest just because I gave him one present so he lived on Cassardis for the rest of the game.

bloody thistle is best warrior weapon im lvl 71 with a dragonforged bloody thistle and do 1800 damage
