The camera movement and body movement is key here... It feels like VR without being VR... loving it. I hate how games normally move your arms and weapons as you look up and down... so... unnatural and dumb. But it's for the gameplay,. So understandable. This is just... really good to watch! Immersive!
Darn, lil' crow. We used to brink you "smooth and silky". But now it is YOU who brought us those - smooth and silky textures. Like hoooly crap. This is some really noice job.
Iirc, it has two modes for dodging: accurate movement and stable camera. Accurate movement pretty much makes the camera roll with you as you roll. Very vomit inducing imo. Stable camera makes it much more tolerable and focuses the camera infront of you instead of rolling with you.
It is aesthetically my favorite modded weapon for ER. Looks good, really cool skill, magic based, couldn't ask for more. You guys really went all out with your weapon models.
This is the coolest damn thing I've ever seen for a game!! I could practically FEEL the spear and sword in my hand! I absolutely love this, well f@#$ing done!!
You could just set the effect toggle key to the same key as the one you use to bring up the map ingame, just make sure you press that key again to close the map and it'll always disable it when you're using the map and reenable it automatically when you leave the map. Overall I'm really surprised how well this works, it doesn't look as ridiculously hard as I imagined the first person mod would be (though I'm sure it gets up there, I can't imagine fighting large bosses is particularly easy lol), and the 3rd person animations fit with a first person view surprisingly well. The reshade also looks quite nice, good job.
I swear Elden Ring will rival even Skyrim as far as longevity with mods and re-releases (you can be SURE there will be Elden Ring release for Switch 2 for example). This mod looks absolutely beautiful, literally every frame a painting. It really makes the art direction pop up. Well done Snuggly, have some homeward bones.
Crazy. First person view really puts the emphasis on how grand and terrifying a world we run around. How scary it must have been when fortissax launched his assault on lyndell, or watching empyreans wage war against on another. The incomprehensible size of the fire giants, the burying of an entire race to an underground prison, even just feeling the presence of the giant golden tree at any given place. To he human in a place for giants and gods. Fills me with terror and amazement.
I have completely updated this Reshade and slimmed it down a lot you can also check it out in action on my latest video

Your reshade my chosen ONE !
Thanks I'm glad you like it
Stunning work. Well done, mate!!
Woah so beautiful. Feels like a new Kingsfield. But the head bobbing and that fov make me feel sick. Usually I like it when the camera stablize and not bobbing, as well as camera fov not too close, like in skyrim for example.
This needs to be added to a vr mod and be played in vr. Would so be a dream come true. Very amazing and stunning work.
Music on point
Playing on PC is just infinitely the better experience. Thanks bro, amazing work.
Skyrim Lands Between DLC is looking mighty fine
I never thought hollow horn grounds could look so pleasing to my eyes
Whoa, it is a completely different game.
It really is, it brought back that "new" feeling again
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 So if I bought the game on pc, would I be able to use these mods to play like this? Or is this just showcase of what it can look like and is not really playable this way?
This is gameplay with it, you can play just like you see me playing. Everything I'm using is listed in the description! However, right now is a bit of an awkward time for mods. Each update to Elden Ring causes issues with most mods and the dlc was pretty major in that regard. Mod creators usually get their mods up and running again in a timely manner but I've seen people still reporting issues with first person souls. So it may be a bit longer til we see a working update for it! Sorry for the paragraph just wanted you to have all the info
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 I appreciate the info. So hard to find a game like that in the mods as you show. It looks totally bad ass.
Absolutely gorgeous. Great job!
Crazy how just a little perspective change and some high res textures can completely reimagine some of these areas. Now whose gonna be the first to kill the final boss of the DLC with this mod.
It's wild too, the game looks incredible in first person even without the texture packs
This is the most beautiful video on elden ring I’ve ever seen
Thank you, that's very kind of you :)
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 of course. You just turned one of my favorite games into a 1st person game. If I had a PC, this mod would be downloaded immediately
Maybe one day consoles will catch on to this stuff lol
Sorry to assume it’s a mod, I meant to say if it was a mod and I had a PC, I would download it fosho. I apologize for the assumption
@@ThePuncakeDude I didn't make the fps mod, just the reshade for it and showcasing both. But yes it is a mod for pc only right now!
I used to imagine there would be games like this made from the ground up for VR where the sheer size, spectacle, and immersion would win people over, and force them to upgrade. Sadly, it seems there's nothing even close to that, with even things like Skyrim VR just being halfassed ports.
Half life alyx is probably the best VR game I've played to date. I'm really excited about the UEVR ports coming (a lot are out but terribly optimized) and being able to play basically any Unreal Engine game in VR is going to be incredible
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 id still rather native ports as those fully use vr unlike the UEVR one. Maybe by quest 10 we will get genuine big, real full sized games coming to VR
@@thedoomslayer5863 oh I would definitely love to see a game like this natively ported but I don't think FS has any intentions with VR. Maybe I will be wrong however and that next spell game IP will be VR
The fire is so realistic that I can smell it as soon as I try to run this mod on my PC.
damn a kingsfield game doesnt sound bad rn with updated combat and mechanics
I'm def going to check this out later, looks sick dude!! I'm going to be blinded by light with my faith build 😂
Love how no one calls Elden Ring ugly anymore. Art direction gods!
because this is modded, genius. vanilla game doesn't look that great
@@burneraccounthandle it is litetally the best art design in any game ever made idiot..
Only ignorant fools would call Elden Ring ugly. It’s one of the most beautiful games ever created.
@@CancunMimosa textures are low res
@@burneraccounthandleit's not about textures res but art direction
4:15 - 4:25 is beautiful. The buff, the lunge, the block, and the kill. Looks sooooooo good.
Misbegotten and Caelid in general are at least 2x as scary in 1st person
Elder scrolls 6 wont even come close to this 💀
This is so good, after seeing this I just realized how massive this game was
It really is massive and detailed!
Hey what’s the mod who make the leyndell guard react when you block their attack with your sword ? It almost look like a parry.
The shaders goes incredibly well with the first person, great video !
Maybe it’s not a mod but it look incredibly cool in first person the time stamp is 6:57
It's a mod. It's a part of most overhaul mods. Just look up sword deflect mod
Yeah, it is just how he behaved. Only mods I used are listed in the description, playing with the carian knights sword with it's heavy attack block is a lot of fun
The carian knight sword has a unique heavy attack with block frames at the start. What you saw was him accidently blocking the knight in the most cinimatic way possible.
The world seems so much bigger and immersive in first person, and everything feels more personal
It really does. Buildings, enemies, landscapes all feel so much more immersive
If it came out like this I would’ve lost my job. I would’ve literally died from malnourishment from not leaving my room.
This reminds me of blade and sorcery which is really cool!👍
4:31 my god
Bringing the current games into the same nostalgic feel of the OG, King's Field.
Wild.
It would be perfect if it was a little bit zoomed out. Weapons look oversized compared to the rest
You can adjust the Fov I just have it setup nicely for my taste and monitor!
The camera movement and body movement is key here... It feels like VR without being VR... loving it. I hate how games normally move your arms and weapons as you look up and down... so... unnatural and dumb. But it's for the gameplay,. So understandable. This is just... really good to watch! Immersive!
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. The team behind first person souls is truly incredible
i love high fantasy
Darn, lil' crow. We used to brink you "smooth and silky". But now it is YOU who brought us those - smooth and silky textures. Like hoooly crap. This is some really noice job.
Its fun and games in first person mode until you start rolling.
lmao yeah, would need to get that mod to replace roll with quickstep or bloodhound step to avoid motion sickness
It helps a ton, I use the bloodhound step mod for my SOTE fps playthroughs
didn't expect chill ambient music when I clicked on this video
I like to keep it calm and peaceful
Can we see dodge rolls? Like with the camera rolling?
Iirc, it has two modes for dodging: accurate movement and stable camera. Accurate movement pretty much makes the camera roll with you as you roll. Very vomit inducing imo. Stable camera makes it much more tolerable and focuses the camera infront of you instead of rolling with you.
@@Urd-Vidan Personally, I love the immersion and I don’t get motion sick so
Man, they should make this game for VR.
Ah yes, The Elder Ring
I didn't know I would ever need a first person souls until now
Minecraft Mods are getting crazy
I was genuinely jumpscared when I saw the Glintstone Cleaver, was not expected that
It is aesthetically my favorite modded weapon for ER. Looks good, really cool skill, magic based, couldn't ask for more. You guys really went all out with your weapon models.
Finally, Oblivion 2
as a fan of third person i rarely ever would play first person games, but this is beyond incredible. what about vr? great work!
They haven't done anything for VR yet, I am patiently waiting for a full motion control mod
what is the axe at 0:30 ?
I am also curious
axe of elden’s ring
Looks like a mod
It’s from a MOD Forget the name though.
It's from the convergence
0:26 what weapon is this????
its maybe an axe, could be a fishing rod tho, not sure
It's from the convergence lol
That depth of field is soooooo good.
Thanks :)
It's all beautiful until a boss fight, and it looks like someone's kicking a camera around on the ground.
This is pretty awesome looking. Imagine how immersive it would look fighting a boss!
Skyrim if it was a good game
It is
This is the coolest damn thing I've ever seen for a game!! I could practically FEEL the spear and sword in my hand! I absolutely love this, well f@#$ing done!!
This game looks absolutely incredible from this perspective
It gives all of these places so much more weight and significance. It's kinda nuts
I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be to fight a boss like this lol. But looks awesome!
Id love a weapon inspection mod cuz those little details on them gotta be nice to look at
Insane how the smallest change in perspective can change everything.
I so wanna see a part 2, but in the DLC areas, some of the new areas are so nice!, Kudos for this mod, makes a great game look even greater
I do plan on doing Dlc areas soon, but I am not the creator of the fps mod just the Reshade. :)
absolutely beautiful
It's like one of those videos where they strap a camera to a housecat when it goes outside to battle demons in a surreal medieval world.
Seeing it in first person almost looks like an entirely new game
Fills me with terror and amazement.
very well put, it really does elicit those emotions especially when you can see all of the lore hidden in the architecture up close
Definitely give me elder scrolls vibes. Can't imagine how fun the blend of the two would be
No thanks. Definetly no trash scrolls vibes whatsoever
@@ToxicTurtleIsMad I can't say I want that, all I'm saying is this reminds me of that style. I'll take souls before scrolls any day
