How come there's a gap with the safeties and doesn't connect to the other side of the upright?
Looks like the gap is there to clear the cables for the Ares system.
The alphas are spotter arms, not flip down safeties. They can be used in the front of the rack as well.
Not sure what pill you are taking, but dude, I could use that energy some Mondays!

Any issues with getting both pins in the spotter arms on a REP rack?
Did you get the magpin 3? If so what color did you choose? Yours look black and I don't see that as an option on their site.

On the Alpha arms is the UHMW more of a matte black than gloss black? Looks like if I ordered the gloss black they would end up almost two toned.
I am torn between alpha or the stealth spotter
but the alpha is longe probably and get rid of the flip down safety.

I have the Alpha arms and a shit ton of magpins, and I love them. But for the money and function, I think the Irwin rollers are a better option than the James 2.0.
