I LOVE THAT MUSIC!!
I truly love the air of finality at the end when the models did the their last run. Everyone was synchronized and coordinated. I think the beat of the music really helped. I don't like to see models bobbing up and down because their aren't coordinated. The clothes were exquisite and the lighting was perfect as was the setting! Bravo! Bravo! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I've always wanted them to do a setting like this one. Having the men and women who work behind the scenes on creating the pieces is really wonderful.
Love the idea of showcasing designers working and a fashion runway together! Brilliant idea! Always love chanel's creativity.

Imagine Coco walking around the backstage inhaling her cigar and checking out the girls as if for final touches. She would be very proud of this collection. Its also nice to see that Karl didn't bring his usual model muse. Instead he had w/ him the people behind the glamorous dress! The ones who need credit too. JOB WELL DONE!!!
Karl Lagerfeld once said that its all about team work. Without these premiere ladies, he couldnt function. So glad he dedicated this runway to acknowledge their accomplishments.
This is a beautiful Haute Couture show, using 'proper' models not D-list celebrities playing at it! Well done Chanel X

I love how Karl 'big-up' the premieres in the end. Very nice gesture walking with them hand in hand. He seems to be such a kind man.

Well youngens I don't know what the hell yall talkin about that collection was freaking AMAZING!!!!!!!Layerd with history proportions and styled to perfection......Listen every thing doesn't have to be tight and garishly hyperly modern trite. The fabrics were heavy embroidered luxury . For some one who knows crafts manship and traditional couture tx.
It's so rare to see the amazing personnel behind the scene! Madame Jacqueline, Madame Cecille, not sure if that's Madame Martine as well or not.
Madame Martine left Chanel for couple seasons now. She retired :(

Decididamente Karl Lagerfeld, es el paradigma de lo que un artista debe hacer siempre, que es: reinventarse, amigos, miren el escenario, o espacio vital que recreó para el desfile, este ser tiene una inteligencia, y un gusto que yo me atrevería a pensar que no es terrenal, realmente no se como lo hacen él, y su equipo para cada seis meses reinventarse una y otra vez, estoy atónito con este señor, ya lo siento , pero él es emperador de la moda y el gusto en el mundo, por lo menos yo lo considero así, no conozco a nadie todavía que poseas sus cualidades creativas, organizativas y artísticas, os lo juro…

@@olivetti22 Tuve la oportunidad de ir a Paris el 2016 y con mi hermana revisamos los precios en un escaparate, las chaquetas van desde 2.000 euros (probablemente la más barata) a 5.000 euros (probablemente algunas ediciones especiales deben costar más). Sí, es bastante inaccesible. El otro día leí que subieron los precios de todos sus productos para equiparar los precios entre sus tiendas a nivel mundial.

better than the last several collections -- but what happened to stunning Chanel buttons and pockets? Not Chanel with zippers -- but so inexpensive to make instead of adding stunning buttons.
They are luxury zippers too.. And if you want to add invisible pockets, you have no choice.
most women do not want the zippers because that's something coco was against. Zippers are cheap that's why they are using them. Their handmade buttons are costly.
Joan deeren it's about style, handmade buttonholes are not so long to make... 2 hours for a classic jacket if you have, let say 8 buttons. But preparing a zipper in haute-couture ask the same time, maybe more...
I really don't think cost has anything to do with this . Do you really think an extra $200 is going to make a difference??? These clothes already cost a fortune. It is a styling choice, Karl trying to be modern, even though everything looked dated before it even hit the runway, zippers are not going to help.
