This and the Sanada Maru battle of the winter campaign are quite honestly the absolute best of what Omega Force has done with their musou games. Not just the embodiment of a musou game, with Yukimura decimating armies by himself, but the narrative and the presentation are incredibly well done. The build up of Yukimura and the Sanada clan's from start to finish was flawless, making them humans as much as legends. The game in general did a superb job with the characters, something that 4-II sadly lacked, and while it's a very tough act to follow, I hope 5 delivers just as well. Not sure about the entire story, but the only way to one up this version of Tennojiguchi is to have Mori Katsunaga as well. It is said that someone said, "How sad that everyone remembers the Sanada, but not the Mori.". Or something among those lines anyway.
@@lawrencerambridge7418 Yep. Katsunaga Mori charged alongside Yukimura, while Sanada was charging for Leyasu main camp. Katsunaga Mori was following after tearing down hordes of enemies before dying bravelly.
The last cutscene with Yukimura and Kunoichi is the exact same as Samurai Warriors 5's Mitsuhide story mode where he is shown with Mitsuki in the night too lol
I've got to be completely honest here. I went into this game not wanting to like it. I never was Yukimura's biggest fan, and seeing a game based all around his family irked me a bit. But it told a story, not just of Yukimura (Who I'm still not into tbh) but of the Whole Sanada clan and those they interacted with. I definitely want more Samurai warriors games like this. And theres no shortage of clans in SW with relatively minor (in terms of the grand story of the Sengoku period) whose tales and personal struggles would likely make for interesting games.
I actually didn't like the SW4 games as a whole, but I enjoyed Spirit of Sanada quite a bit. Koei can do good if they focus their efforts rather than spread themselves too thin.
So, so, SO awkward that Kunoichi isn't allowed to grow up compared to everyone else. She's my favourite SW and she can't be allowed apperantly to look older or even slightly sound lower, either?
I think it's because she's a ninja I guess? sometimes ninjas just has their own trick to gain eternal youth ? maybe, I JUST DON'T KNOW. But sometimes I think Kunoichi was very young in the first place like 10 or maybe 12 years old and then she has eternal beauty or youth
@@faqihsonzulhuda3596 I think it's more of how they depict female ninjas (or Kunoichi in general), Female Ninjas don't have age since they can always disguise themselves to look younger than they really are.
Legit. Especially because KT has been hinting at a romantic relationship between Kunoichi and Yukimura since SW1. To have her as a teenager/adult with kid Yukimura was creepy, and to not age her along with Yuki was a missed opportunity. Imagine a hot, deadly vixen type older Kunoichi. Red outfit, shorter hair. She can make clones of herself like the other ninja, has knives, bombs, fire magic Though because she's an amalgamation of the Ten Braves, that's probably why she doesn't age. Same with how Magoichi could be fighting with the Hogannji and at Hasedo decades later
Oh my god ! did KT just make a complete story that has well developed characters and meaningful battles that fit the emotional context? Hope we get something similar in Samurai Warriors 5 and I hope you post videos of SW5 when it is released
The night battle starts with Petal in the Winds (Sanada Ver.), from Samurai Warriors 4 and 4-II. And then it shifts to the Sanada-Maru remix of Twin Cherry Blossoms, Yukimura Sanada's character theme. And the last one, when intensity of the battle ramps to the max? That's Sanada-Maru, and that's the song's name, just two words.
It's sad that they dont age the women alongside the men. I get the Feeling Omega Force is full of Virgin developers who have never spoke to a real women and think they are all like Manga characters. They should really do better, its insanely creepy how some of the fans crush on the female characters and the developers have to have them in as little clothes as possible
Why does koei suck at designing characters, spears going through capes n shit just looks wack. Ps. They need to bring Yoshitsune Minamoto and benkei in a samurai warriors game.
They're more folklore / Ronin characters than actually being part of the Sengoku Era, so they don't appear in SW. They do appear in Warriors Orochi though.
Yoshitsune Minamoto and Benkei are 400 years older than all of the cast, so if we're getting them then it'll be with an entirely different cast (and it won't be sengoku warriors anymore).

that final charge did make me think that Hidetada would say "goddamit Yukimura!"
I like how the first part of Tennojiguchi plays Petals in the Wind (Sanada version).

The best final battle better than sw 4

I'd rather have this historically grounded depiction than that totally dramatized Yukimura vs Nobuyuki moment anytime! xD
