- Now we're gonna have some fun. Yukimura's full moveset is now unlocked and we have the best stage in the entire game to play. Seriously, this stage is amazing both in design and how it's played. The only ally on this map is you and you alone, and you're up against the bulk of the shogunate forces.
Most of the map is covered in red morale but that hardly matters to Yukimura. You can fight in that with no worries and as you demolish the enemy forces it'll start to dissipate. Use your strategies to cripple and decimate the enemy. The only thing you have to worry about is the enemy getting to Osaka Castle, but they have to pass the Sanada Maru to do that. You have a huge advantage in the Sanada Maru because you can activate the rifle fire to rinse the enemies inside and you can use the hidden paths to traverse it quickly and reach any approaching enemies faster than they ever could.
This stage is just really damn fun. I use it whenever I really want to have fun in this game. I especially like Yukimura taunting the enemies by turning off the Sanada Maru and saying all he needs is his spear. Cuz he's not even wrong.
This battle is the main highlight of the whole game, the Sanada Maru, the name of the place that Yukimura made history. Through this battle we really feel their admiration towards Yukimura, and the hype is skyrocketing above the roof. It's as if we're on the losing side, admiring Yukimura as we guide the way for him, in his unleashed form, while creating history. That is the true beauty of this game and why I love this game. I mean, who could not admire Yukimura being able to single-handedly knock back a whole siege and even charging for Ieyasu's head against all odds?
It's also the game's Japanese name *and* the name of the tv show that inspired the game.
Yep. Obviously I'm just gushing over this fine piece of art but Sanada Maru is the JP name too ^^

You don't get more 'Warriors" than that! And the fact it was used to play up Yukimura's historical badassery makes it even better. Easily a Top 5 stage for me from any of the Warriors games I've played.
watching two years later I like seeing you stop yourself at 4:05 from throwing the officer into the sanada maru, which is exactly what I managed to do, twice, lol.
God this just makes me miss this game, probably one of my favorite warriors games of all time alongside hyrule warriors.

The only thing I feel not enough about this stage is that this stage needs more enemies (for me anyways). This stage makes me so motivated that I took every base before I took on Masamune.
Defeat 1.000 enemies? Alone? Heh, if I plays Yukimura, this is never a problem for me.
From scale of 1 to 10, I give this stage 100.
Yukimura is like the officer bane type XD
Is it odd that I want to see Yukimura solo the Wu army? I betcha Yukimura could do it too.

Idk who's stronger. Lu Bu with Chen Gong's strategies, or Sanada Maru Yukimura
Well to be fair, Lu Bu's strength is said to be monstrous for a man afaik
Yukimura will win, Lu Bu has a bad habit not to listen Chen Gong
His moveset is over the top and i like it too bad he is not in wo4u
In exchange for having broken moveset, they nerfed his ultimate musou attack huh
.... Not sure about that...his ultimate gained range, and that increased numbers of targets...
