Really masterly. I have been enjoying and learning from you since that book of Lord Snowdans from the 1960's. Thankyou so much for working so hard with the great talent you have developed and sharing so much with the world.

David Hockney is inspiring because he insisterer on being deeply interessed in human experience - and everybody should learn that. To experience is to be radically present and to take in everything and then respond in whatever medium you can = but please honour the paintings by stopping and let us move into the Landscape not just passing by

Great footage of the semi dark gallery interior. Lousy footage of the paintings. No audio. Is this a teaser??

Brown and green should never be seen ,Hockney was right when he said he was no colourist .............if I didn’t know who did those ,I would say it was a Sunday painter .

But it couldn't be a "sunday painter" could it? Can you not see the talent? are you blind to the art there? Or is it just boring snobbery and jealousy? If it doesn't fit your rigid conformist prescriptive definition them just don't look at it, move on.

Oh the days when you were free to visit galleries & not mask yourself following government failings from the start.

I've had enough of Hockney's lackadaisical production line art. He's gone back to landscape because it lends itself to his fast system of broad areas of colour. The subject is an excuse for the method. Now he's used the London Underground to promote himself instead of taking the job seriously.
