This is like a meditation, typical Hockney pulls you in to his mind. I came across this extraordinary artist on my first visit to London in the middle 70's from Ireland. Like Picasso I have always been influenced and put me on the road to my own journey as an artist. Thank you David and if you ever come to Ireland you can come out and socialise as a smoker, we Irish find nooks and crannies everywhere.
This gallery magically makes David Hockney's art look like windows.. Never tire looking at his beautiful works.. so grateful to have him in our lives...⭐
What a joy. What an inspiration. I've been a fan of David Hockney since the 60s and no matter what he turns his hand to he just gets better and better and better. "Love Life" Love David Hockney!
I bought the book Spring Cannot be Cancelled right when it was published and have already reread it twice more. Super work and thank you for this upload as I love overseas and wished I could see the works when I read of the exhibition. I have loved his work since I was in my ealy 20's ...so 40 years plus
Thank you so much for uploading this virtual tour. David Hockney's work is always moving, uplifting, and honestly the beauty and sensitivity of it all made me shed a tear or two. He just keeps getting better with age.
It had the same affect on me Natasha....such joy and light after a time of so much sadness and darkness. I stood on a stormy night last May in Picadilly watching the 'sunrise at sunset' with tears in my eyes as Hockney proclaimed on the largest advertising hoarding in Europe..."Remember you cannot look at the sun or death for very long....."
Visited last week and this is a truly stunning exhibition. It shows both the power of digital art as a media as well as David Hockney's huge gift of capturing depth, movement and colour in the most magical way - thank you for this wonderful experience.
Thank you for allowing us to see this inspirational exhibition from the comfort of our sofa. This was tottally relaxing to watch. We were lucky enough to see an Exhibition at the York Art gallery where the artworks created from scenes in the Yorkshire wolds were displayed. It was wonderful to see in real life.
David Hockney is one of our greatest living artists, always experimenting and using tecnology in new ways always pushing and evolving his work in new directions, this shows thar digital art can be really stunning. This is beautilly filmed and gives a real sense of the essence of the spirit of spring's awakening that he was trying to capture in these i-pad paintings and animations. I hope to go the exhbibition i person very soon.
What a wonderful exhibition! Such beautiful work . It’s the night scenes that I find the most fascinating and I could easily live with nos. 11,83 and 89. 😍 Thank you for putting this online!
I'm so in awe .... of DH work. As a want to be artist, I finally found someone to aspire to, the simplicity of nature comes through as astounding beauty, the colors make me feel alive! Good bye to perspectives and perfection, now I feel better about what I see when I paint a tree. Thank you, David Hockney
Amazing, but I have one fear. As he's painting with the iPad, how is such artwork stored? Because as much as we think digital daga is here to stay forever, it decays too. Wonder how to make sure future generations in hundreds of years can still watch the art like we can see paintings on cave walls, canvases etc. No expert on the theme just curious. As I have found out that our digital photos and films might indeed get lost over time on a data server, while my old photos may still be around despite yellowing.
Bei genauem Hinsehen zeigen sich die Schwächen des iPad..Ich schätze Hockney als Maler sehr, aber sollte wieder malen...Quantität ersetzt keine Qualität.
I love this to bits! Hockney is my hero, and he still smokes, too! Can someone do me a favor and please tell me where and who this music comes from? I really like it, too.
I think that art can be simple and not translated to the conceptual level so that the ordinary person can appreciate the visual images and you do not have to be a great artist to see the love of life in these pictures. Art is open to all that wants to do or see it and you do not necessary need a qualification to enter a museum or draw, paint subjects of nature.
People coming here because they searched up a Tower of God character be like: 😎👌✨🤯◻️♦️ (The author named his character after this artist because h the character also like to draw and he happened to have a book of David Hockney near him, so he named him after him, but still, great video 👍)
What I hate is programmes that put these so called famous artists on pedestals, making them great, if it wasn't for the media they wouldn't be known at all and also most famous artists get elevated through millionaires who buy there paintings and put them into famous galleries and walla they get famous...Its pretty shit.
and it's pretty shit when you are elderly and jealous of other people and instead of looking inside yourself you shit it out on others. If you know some art history and context (and have no personal jealousy issues), you'd understand.
Idk to each his own.. only amazing part that its in a gallery and they really want you think its good lmfao. Joke. Even the point behind it is ridiculous.. wasted my time waiting for something good...
I like the joyful colors and mood, but other than that... As far as I know, he is not considered a naive artist. But most of his work here looks very childish, just too simple. I don't appreciate primitivization of art.
It is deceptively simple looking. Not naive at all. The art is in capturing a moment so excellently that it makes the viewer believe it is simple by being so immediate.
Technology and love of art working together to create magic…a mediation on beauty and evolution…thank you David Hockney
I just saw this exhibition in 2022. Monumental, moving and inspiring! I never felt so much joy, pure happiness and love pouring out of colors.
I’m in love with his art with his mood with his art of express his ideas. ❗️
I adore you Grande Maestro,
Mr David Hockney 💖

this actor of art does not hold a candle to a real painter of ours days like Richard Schmid , a painter who was a true depicter of nature.
What a wonderful exhibition! Such beautiful work . It’s the night scenes that I find the most fascinating and I could easily live with nos. 11,83 and 89. 😍 Thank you for putting this online!
This is more than beautiful! I wish I could see all this live 🌸
pure visual pleasure, thank you
I absolutely love this guy's art - it's a constant, and magnificent, inspiration to me. One can learn so much here.
This is so incredibly beautiful! Thank you for sharing this here for everyone to see.
Thank you David Hockney! I love you.
Wow, I haven’t seen digital art look so soulful (unless I haven’t looked hard enough) . I see the medium can be elevated in a great artists hands.
This must be the greatest art exhibition in history!
UN GRAN TRABAJO. FELICITACIONES Y GRACIAS.
Wonderful. Thank you so much
Wonderful tour and so inspirational…gives me ideas for my art. Love the luminescent values.

Lovely. Thankyou 😊
Can I download these brilliant creations for something as pedestrian as a screen saver?
DH…I’m reading and savoring your new book, “Spring Can Not Be Cancelled”. It takes me to Normandy. It’s wonderful.
🌼nly David Hockney 🌳💠💗

Thanks.

wow!!!
I like the dark walls.
love
Is he a landscape artist?

It’s stupid but I’m proud that Hockney lives and paint in France actually :)
I love this to bits! Hockney is my hero, and he still smokes, too! Can someone do me a favor and please tell me where and who this music comes from? I really like it, too.

I think of Matisse and Van Gogh …
SP{ENDID
Am I alone in finding the music horribly intrusive and banal?
this video is very bad you can't see anything
is this a joke or some thing ? the art is so terrible , its like a mockery of art.
