Outer Banks didn’t go downhill. People are just upset the series started following an actual storyline and it wasn’t the pogues just sitting around every episode. The main critique I hear is that the show became “too much” and it’s not as “chill” in the later seasons.

i agree with you on that one , it’s funny cause when i was first completed the show , it took me so long to finish s1 bc i was hearing things like it’s a treasure hunt and they gotta find gold , which they was doing but people made it sound more exciting and thrilling when in reality it was pretty unexciting , but after season 1 i binged it . i love how they stepped up the action and just everything , in my opinion i think the series gets better and better

Right after the premiere of season 3 they renewed the show for a fourth season and I’m pretty sure they said they were making 5 seasons
