From the '70s era, when a group was described as a "band and show."

Playing this live version loud takes a person to levels unknown. I love the album and live version of "I Can Understand It" by New Birth originally done by Bobby Womack.

These guys never got the credit they deserved. They were brilliant. Leslie Wilson would go on to replace Jeffrey Osborne an we knew how good he was. Great Video.

Looks like Leslie, Londee, Melvin and Alan on vocals. Londee had that look of a star, diminutive, aloof and charismatic.

    Leslie was SO beautiful!
There just isn't enough footage of him performing. Or maybe there is and i haven't discovered it yet.

The vocals on this tune I play at decibel 10. Old SChool rules baby. Takes us back to the 70' funk and soul

A Rickenbacker bass? Not for this kind of music. 🤨

Why not? Leon Sylvers played oneon most of his hits. Boogie Mosson from PFunk used one on occasion.
