Yep a respectable man to look up to some people would just take them without a care in the world, it's a shame they don't have a tail V notching system in his area for when the lobsters migrate to other areas so they know not to take the breeding females.

Nice catch! I catch blue crabs in the states and when you pull them up they're ready to fight!
I lived in MD for a short bit and never got the hang for the blue crabs.
Blue crabs are evil little bastiges!

The wasn’t much tangled in it , it’s just an old net used for spider crab , because it’s had some use there’s parts of the net just tied together as there was a big hole , that could be what your seing as a tangle
However do these nets ever get untangled? :)

No they are omnivores, they eat everything haha
what is the reason you dont remove the crabs etc as you pull in the net ?
Boat will spin round the net , a lot easyer an safer to just pull it in an take big weed out an sort the rest into a bungo
