idk if you have received the answer yet but the answer is : that is Japanese style flooring. There is no cut off from the shower floor and the rest of the bathroom floor. Basically, there is no tub. There is usually a step down when you go into the bathroom. AKA the water doesn't pass over to the rest of the house.

Moke up homes are there even in india ,almost all the popular builders keep two or three moke up homes in their offices which gives a superb impression for the customers and wen the real thg comes half of these wont be there, and thy spend alot on interior work
